Dear James, Thank you for your assistance when we booked Vatican View recently. The apartment was very good and we would stay there again. The owner was helpful and friendly. The car that you organised to collect us from Ciampino airport was waiting for us on arrival. Regards,

Many thanks for all your help in booking the Vatican View apartment in Rome for last weekend (15th - 18th June). We had a wonderful time and the apartment was everything we needed and far more than we expected. The atmosphere was the 'real' Italy. It was spacious and very clean. Everything worked well, especially the air conditioning which we definitely needed. The views from the roof terrace were brillant, especially of St Peters dome at the Vatican. It was quiet, private and felt very secure (we had 5 keys including one for the lift). The service was great. When we had a question about how the air conditioning worked I phoned Ambra and she contacted Grisel (I think that was her name) who lived near by and she came round within 20 minutes. The location was great. Five minutes walk to St Peters square and 2 minutes to the 64 bus route which went to every main area within the city centre and ran about every 7 minutes. We each bought a 3-day ticket for 11 euros and this covered the buses, metro, trams & main trains. It was so easy to use the 64 bus that we came back to the apartment every day for early afternoon for a siesta period during the hottest time of the day (although this was spent sun bathing on the terrace). There was also a GS supermarket 5 minutes up the road, which Grisel showed us the way to after she let us in to the apartment, which had everything we needed. A truely wondeful week-end - Rome is the most amazing city. However it was definitely complimented by having such a great apartment in such a convenient location. We hope to visit again. Many thanks, Pamele & Lisa
