Early in the morning we were picked up at the airport by a driver and delivered to the apartment. When we arrived we were greeted by the lovely landlords who porceeded to take us up tho the appartment and show us around. Instantly we felt right at home. We were amazed at what was on offer to us (tea, coffee, sauces, butter, bathroom ammenities etc) as we had stayed at a few places in europe before this stop and got nothing like this. The kitchen ammenities were excellent especially because we love cooking at home. One of the highlights was that there there was some vodka in the freezer that cooled us down from the long journey! We were situated in the heart of rome which made it accessable to everything but still a quiet retreat. We would recommend anyone to stay in this warm and friendly environment as we will do if we ever return to rome! xx

The location is amazing, easy walking distance to all the main sites. And the owners are very friendly and helpful. The apartment is perfect for two people and well equipped. But in Dec 06 there was a major construction site in the building across from the Nolita, which is right outside your window, and more happening downstairs. It would have been nice to have been told about that in advance. So I would check if this is still happening before you book. Highly recommend it though when the construction is finished.

When we arrived at our apartment we were greeted by a lovely English speaking Italian woman who told us everything we could possibly need to know and if we needed anything more just to call her family. The place was fab, right in the heart of Campo di Fiori (city centre) which is great for markets in the day and a quiet drink in the evening. Although we did have a couple of drinks in the bars around Campo di fiori we found them quite expensive and so a couple if times we joined the locals in sitting round the fountain in the centre of the town with our bottle of beer/glass of wine from the supermarket. It was a great, relaxed atmosphere and seems to be a traditional occurrence each night of the weekend. If not Campo di fiori then a short walk to the Trevi Fountain to do the same. We dined out each evening, places were so easy to get to, 10 mins walk accross the bridge to Trestevere with a whole range of trattorias or pizzerias, our favourite evening was in the Jewish quarter in a quieter part of town where we ate traditional Roman food with great service. Each day we had things right on our doorstep to do, Rome is fab, like one big adventure playground and everything was in walking distance from our apartment. The collosseum, approx 30mins walk, Vatican, 30mins walk, spanish steps 15mins, trevi fountain 10mins, Pantheon, 5mins. Although it takes these few minutes to walk there is so much to see on the way. Back to our accomodation - this was exactly what we needed, cooking facilities if needed, shower and sofa bed (very comfortable) in the back streets of Rome, surrounded by local living people. Even though we were in heart of things it was so peaceful all of the time. Perfect location! I would recommend this place any time, it was great, I would also recommend booking through holiday velvet, they have been nothing but helpful and everything was so smootlhy done. If you need to ask any questions then feel free to do so. hannahwells1@hotmail.com Thanks

The location was really good and perfect for anyone. Only few minutes wander to Campo Di Fiori. On a Saturday, it is buzzing with market stalls, people sitting around for un caffe. Extremely pleasant with good weather. It is walkable distance to main sites and basilico, an amazing one just around the corner on the main road. Property is great and has everything and very cozy for 2 people. Bed is very comfortable. Very secluded and entrance is in an alley way. Definitely, no paparazzi will be able to find it. Daniel, the guy who gave us the keys and briefed us on arrival, was extremely helpful and concise. Good value for money for the location and quality.

The location of our apartment near the Campo de' Fiori was perfect! It is in a cobblestone alley above the kitchen of a restaurant; in the evening, lovely smells come in through the window. The room is small, clean, and furnished with a complete kitchen and linens. There were no problems getting the key to the apartment upon arrival.

Nolita was a lovely little apartment, just perfect for two. It is very centrally located, just behind the Campo dei Fiori (handy for fresh food shopping). From this apartment you could walk to most major sites. There are lost of nice eateries, bars and shops nearby, all very convenient whether one wants to have a cosy meal in the apartment or eat out. All in all a very nice holiday. Rome is just fantastic!

The location is perfect, just marvellous! The flat was just what a couple need, quite simple but well equiped. Very quiet, that really surprised us as it is so near the lively Campo di Fiori. Try the really marvellous experience dining at Trattoria Er Pallaro at the piazza nextdoors, an outstanding real Italian meal! We went there twice during our week in Rome. Really near to walk everywhere, in all directions. Don´t miss the market at Campo di Fiori! We were amazed by the friendly and polite drivers who picked us up just as decided at the airport and at the flat. We got engaged during our stay in Rome, so we will certainly never forget our stay at Nolita! Best regards, Petra & Anders

Review:
The location and appearance of the appartment was ideal for us. The market at Campo dei Fiori was round the corner and wonderful cafes, restraurants and shops were on the doorstep. The bakery/delicatessan round the corner was to die for. The sofa bed was fine but a little hard so we both ended up with slightly sore backs by the end of the week. Unfortunately we could not get the broadband internet access to work - though this may have been a blessing is disguise as we could cut the outside world off. Would definately recommend this appartment for couples looing for a self contained and romantic visit to Rome

The location of Nolita was excellent, it was possible to walk to all the sights and places of interest in Rome. Shops and restaurants were minutes away. Although the apartment was so central, it was down an alley so was quiet at night time. When we arrived at Nolita the owner was there to meet us and was helpful. Nolita was clean and had everything necessary for our stay. My only concern was that the alley tended to be where the local restaurant left rubbish, ie cardboard boxes etc. Apart from that there were no problems.

Review:
We enjoyed our time in Rome and the simple flat we rented was acceptable. The bed and linens were clean but not as comfortable as we would have liked. The noise from the restaurant kitchen below was a bit annoying at times. The location was excellent, convient to a grocery store and open market, and convient for all the major sites. Small but accceptable for someone on a budget and someone wanting a true living experience.

The location was very good, we were near to old town. About the cleanliness of the property was good too and the relationship between price/quality was normal. It isn't an hotel but you can enjoy the same facilties more or less.

It was really hard to find this place, especially late at night. Even our cab driver got lost. Fortunately the apartment manager was waiting for us outside otherwise we never would have found it. Once there, the place was fine. Our own little Roman apartment. We cooked our own meals a few times in the small kitchen. Perfect for a couple. The location was wonderful. Just a few steps from Campo de Fiori. Don't miss the morning Farmer's Market and the restaurant at the corner of the semi-circle street is a must do too. Say hay to Momma for us!

Review:
The accommodation was small but adequate for a long weekend. It was in a great location, very quiet, but close to the action of the Campo De Fiori. It was clean and tidy and the owner was prompt at arrival/departure times. Disappointed to learn, however, that we had to vacate at 10.00 am which was earlier than stated.

Review:
Rome was fantastic, and the apartment was in a great location within easy walking of most of the major sites. Apartment was small but clean and adequate for a short stay (no air conditioning). However, it was difficult to find as it is located in a small un-marked side street in Piazza dei Satiri at the corner of Via D.Chiavari.

The service was good and the location was great for the price. The bed was a little hard and the toilet didn't flush very well.
