i jut wanted to say what a wonderful team of people you have in Rome. We came out on the 15/9/06 .Unfortunately our flight was delayed and we were ready to land at Ciampino airport at 12.03am. Tthe airport had closed and we were diverted to Fiumciano (?). We were really worried about being so late as we knew the guy at the apartment had already had to wait up quite late for us. I rang the housekeeper and he said he would wait for us which was great. However I didn't have a number for the taxi. No worries as he rang us to see where we were. I explained the situation and he said he would come and collect us in about 15 minutes. we were amazed!!! We had to wait ages for our luggage but the driver kept in touch and was waiting outside. He took us to a beautiful Mercedes!!!!( not your usual cab!!!) and took us to the apartment where the housekeeper was duly waiting. The driver didn't even ask for any more money (We did give him some! for his trouble) what a nice guy! I'm sure this situation arises every week with Ryanair! The apartment was basic but adequate, in a perfect location. As you said it was a perfectly safe area for 3 women travelling on their own. Our only 'room for improvement' would have been for there to be another sofa. There were 8 dining chairs ( and in fact extra leaves for the table to have a dinner party, although you couldn't have cooked a meal in the kitchette!!) but only one sofa. After a long day walking ( in the pouring rain!!) there was a fight for the sofa I can tell you!! We ate at the restaurant at the apartment entrance ( Restaurant Panico), very handy(in the rain) and ok for basic pasta and pizza. There was a liitle deli across the road on Via Coronari which had excellent Ham ,cheese, Olives, nibbles and wine! and also milk and water. So, very handy. We had a great time and would recommend Holiday Velvet to anyone. The apartments location made up for the poor seating! and shower and we would go there again. Many many thanks for all your help

Just a short note to thank you for your excellent support in arranging and supporting my recent visit to Rome. Everything was in place as promise and at the airport and apartments people were waiting to meet and greet. The Coronari flat was compact and very quiet. the Coronari Grande was larger and in a more vibrant location. Both flats were clean and as described on the site. The location, if you want central Rome , in my opinion cannot be bettered with easy access to all the major site and the added advantage of having a number of restaurants and eateries literally just outside the flats. My thanks once more for your help

Great central location and well appointed facilities, ideal for four people, well looked after and cared for and for a very affordable price.
