- This is quite a find! Right on Vie de Corso, we were less than a mile walk from the ruins or the Vatican. Felt like we were right in the middle of everything. Enjoy!

- We travelled to Rome in a group of 9 - ranging from 1 year to 61 yrs. We stayed in the San Carlo and San Carlo 2, centrally located - just a few minutes fron the Spanish Steps and perfect for a group as the two apartments face each other across a small hallway. The apartments were clean, tidy, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We were greeted at the apartments and shown how everything worked. They even provided a high chair. We had two small issues whilst we were there - the first was simply bad timing for us, as the road outside the building was being lifted and re-laid. Heavy machinery ran all through the night - so some of the rooms were noisy. Hopefully that's all sorted by the time you're reading this review! The second is a piece of advice... if you want to check out late, phone and make arrangements with the owner in advance of the stay. We tried to arrange it on arrival and were told it wasn't an option. If this is the case for you, speak to them about leaving your bags at the offices. The other option is taking a taxi to Termini, which was very time consuming. One other thing - print out the map of the area. Tthe apartments are up a staircase in a tiny street and are easy to miss! The issues we had were minor and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the apartments or Holiday Velvet. I hope you enjoy your stay!
