- The apartment in rue Rambuteau was perfect for us. The view was great, and it was quiet being up 6 floors. Above all the location was excellent - a short walk to Notre Dame, Pompidou, and 2 blocks to the metro. Also numerous local bakeries, shops, cafes, and historic sites such as Carnavalet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only drawback was the small bathroom/shower, but it was sufficient.
