- Our stay at Casa Portagioia during our late April early May Italy trip this year was clearly the highpoint. Terry and Marcello are the greatest of hosts!! Anyone thinking of visiting the Cortona region should read the comments here and on Rick Steves' grafitti page about this wonderful B&B.

- e stayed at Casa Portagioia for the whole two weeks of our holiday and what a great decision that turned out to be. As a base to all peace,tranquility and relaxation Casa could not be beaten. We were really comfortable in the excellent accomodation , loved the pool , relished the breakfasts and longed for fresh pasta and salad lunches (made with such care by Marcello). The scenery was fantastic and 2 weeks allowed us to explore all of the nearby towns Florence was superb, Pienza a delight & Anghiari charming but we also loved walking in the hills and valley near Casa Portagioia. Overall a superb place

- What a special time we had with you and a repeat visit is definitely planned for next year. I'm doing a Tuscany promotion through my company next month so if you get flooded with bookings from eager South Africans, I really enjoyed meeting you both. You;ve done wonders with the property and you deserve every bit of success you have

- Thank you for the warmth, hospitality, and comfort that you provided for us. We came home refreshed and happy to be back, with wonderful memories of our glorious days at Casa Portagioia. Both of you have created something that is bigger than the sum of the parts. I am sure that you often look at Casa Portagioia as a business and see only the extraordinary amount of labor it requires to keep it running. But for your visitors, at least for these four, Casa Portagioia was more that the sum of its parts. It was a sanctuary of peace and serenity. Both of you made it very easy for us to settle into Tuscany and learn from the people and the land. And we are all grateful that you included a description of Le Celle in your guide. We would not have known about it otherwise and all of us have been affected by the presence we felt there. Again, thank you and it is our fervent hope that you continue to create the work of art that you have begun at Casa Portagioia

- You guys spoiled us (as you predicted). Nothing was the same after staying with you! We loved starting our holiday with you, in every respect. Beautiful super clean rooms, fantastic gardens and the vews from the pool - stunning. Our subsequent journey was wonderdful. Florence is awesome, Bologna was delicious, and Lake Come is breathtaking. But there's no place like Casa Portagioia - however you spell it. Thank you, thank you, thank you
