- Apartment is in the BEST location, we walked nearly everywhere. Great to have breafast at the Pantheon every morning. Apartment is spacious and very well equipped. A bit hot in summer - needs better airconidtioning, but fan in the bedroom was great.

- From the start, I was satisfied with the service provided by Holiday Velvet. The website descriptions were clear and honest; Oakley Johnson facilitated our booking with friendly professionalism; then upon our arrival we were impressed by the time-keeping and courtesy of our driver (Gino), who took us from and to the airport. The apartment couldn't have been more central; it was a perfect size for 2 people, and the interior decoration was stunning! Although we found the apartment largely clean and very tidy, there are two 'maintenance' issues which could be improved for the future: the lovely upholstery of the sofa and chairs was desperately in need of cleaning; and the drains in the bathroom also need more regular attention. However, as our experience with Holiday Velvet has been overwhelmingly positive, we shall definitely use the service again - and in fact I have already recommended the company to a colleague looking for holiday accommodation in Rome!
