- We enjoyed our stay at the Marco Polo in Florence. We had enough beds and room, a clean apt and everything that we needed, I believe for a good price. Only a few minor points: 1) the gas hob only worked by keeping the knob pressed in continuously throughout cooking, which was a bit of a nuisance. 2) Maybe one could apply mesh so that not so many mosquitoes come into the apartment. 3) it would be nice to provide free wireless Internet.

- A great place in a great location. the owner/agent was quite impatient on our arrival, which was unfortunately a few minutes late. It seemed that she had another tenant due at the same time, so one of us was going to get the flick! Consequently our introduction to the apartment was too brief, and she showed no interest in advising us about anything. Nevertheless we would go there again if ever we return to Florence.
