- The Dante property in Florence was the largest and most beautiful of the three properties we rented in Italy during our two week trip. It was, in a word, HUGE, with perfectly decorated rooms, spotlessly clean, and in a lovely building with a charming courtyard and small balcony that provided a wonderfully tranquil area for reading and resting. For what we paid for this property, we MIGHT have been able to get one or two SMALL hotel rooms - or maybe not. Staying in this apartment was like having a real "home" in Florence - but a home VERY close to open air markets, lovely al fresco dining and Florence's primary tourist attractions. The very effective air conditioning cooled us down after a hot day of sightseeing - we would rent this property again in a minute and recommend it to family and friends. And the caretaker/owner(?) of the property was charming, efficient and took VERY good care of our family. Thank you for a wonderful visit!
