The apartment is split over 2-levels and is perfect for up to 4 guests looking to stay in the vibrant Camps Bay area. Decorated in neutrals and white, with rich touches of wood furnishings, this bright Camps Bay holiday rental accommodation, which also features light-wood flooring, exudes a soothing and airy ambience. The spacious entrance hall leads directly onto the first level. The sea-facing master bedroom is en-suite and includes a king-size bed and a bathroom with a tub and also benefits from a balcony with a café table and 2 chairs. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, sea views and a dedicated bathroom with a shower. On the lower level, are the living, dining and kitchen areas. The raised, open-plan kitchen is fully-fitted with modern amenities and also includes a breakfast bar with stools. A few steps down lead into the sunken living area which features a sectional sofa and a dining table for 8 guests. Sliding glass doors open up to the private garden patio complete with a dining table and chairs. The outside communal area features a swimming pool and there are barbecue facilities. The rental apartment also includes linens and towels, parking, daily cleaning (Mon-Sat) and DSTV TV. More than 90 days: For bookings cancelled more than three months prior to arrival date a 20% cancellation fee is charged
Within 90 and 60 days: For bookings cancelled between 90 and 60 days of arrival date a cancellation fee of 35% of the Rental is charged
Within 60 and 30 days: For bookings cancelled between 60 and 30 days of arrival date a cancellation fee of 70% of the Rental is charged
Within 30 days: For bookings cancelled less than 30 days from arrival date a cancellation fee of 100% of the Rental is charged
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, strikes, political unrest, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.
As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
ALTERATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS BY HOLIDAY VELVET
Though it is unlikely that Holiday Velvet will have to make any changes to confirmed arrangements, it does occasionally happen, and we will advise you at the earliest possible date. If, for any reason beyond our control, we are unable to provide you with the property you booked, Holiday Velvet shall reserve the right to cancel the reservation. For example, if the properties are damaged or rendered unusable Holiday Velvet will endeavor to locate an alternative property for the period required. However, if this is not possible, or you do not wish to be transferred, Holiday Velvet will cancel the booking and refund you in full. Holiday Velvet shall not be liable for any further obligations or claims by the client.If before or during the Occupation Period, the Manager should cancel this Agreement orthe Tenant should cancel the reservation Agreement as a result of a breach of any suchAgreements by the Owner the Manager shall reimburse the a pro rata portion of the Rentalthat the Tenant did not occupy the Premises.Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein contained, the Tenant hereby agrees andauthorises the Manager to, should the Premises, for any reason whatsoever, not be suitablefor occupation by the Tenant, resulting in the cancellation of this Agreement, arrange suchalternative accommodation (on the same or similar terms and conditions contained in thisAgreement) for the duration or remainder of the Occupation Period.
BREACH
If any party commits any breach of any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement (“thedefaulting party”) then the remaining party (“the aggrieved party”) shall be entitled togive the defaulting party 24 hours notice to remedy such breach, and if the defaulting partyfails to comply with such notice then the aggrieved party shall be entitled, but not obliged,without prejudice to any other rights which the aggrieved party may have in law, includingthe right to claim damages, to cancel the Agreement; or claim immediate performanceand/or payment of all the defaulting party’s obligations in terms hereof.Should the aggrieved party institute action against the defaulting party pursuant to abreach by the defaulting party of this Agreement, then without prejudice to any of therights which the Owner may have, the aggrieved party shall be entitled to recover from thedefaulting party all costs incurred by it including legal costs (on the scale as betweenattorney and own client), tracing fees and such collection commission as the aggrievedparty is obliged to pay to its attorneys.
