This Budapest apartment rental was completely renovated in August 2007 with top-quality finishes, special attention to comfort and with a young lively and minimalist style at the same time.

This apartment in Budapest is located on the ground floor of a neo-classic style 19th-cent. building has a large and well-lit courtyard and recreates the romantic and original atmosphere of old Budapest, away from the chaos of the city.

On entering the Budapest apartment rental, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen. A small arch separates it from the lounge with dinner table, large comfortable settee (possibility of transforming it into a double bed), stereo and TV; to the rear of the room on the right is the bathroom with a practical shower cubicle.

A large and convenient staircase leads to the mezzanine floor with two bedrooms – one double/two beds and one with two single beds. The ceiling is elegantly vaulted.

This Budapest apartment rental can comfortably accommodate up to six people on holiday using the divan-bed in the lounge.

About Budapest Pest

The Budapest apartment rental is located in the square of the same name overlooking Andrassy ut: Budapest’s main thoroughfare, where the best theatres are to be found, such as the Operà (about 100 metres away), together with fashionable restaurants, designer boutiques, including Louis Vuitton, which has just opened nearby. A 10-15 minute walk along this avenue will bring you to the famous bridge of the Chains over the Danube, which divides Pest (where you are) from Buda (the city of the castle and the royal palace).

Behind the apartment is Budapest’s very central Oktogon Ter square, with the underground railway station. Not far off is the square of Heroes, where the main art and history museums are located and above all in the vicinity are the Szecheniy Spa facilities (the largest in Europe) built in the 19th century and which offer covered and open-air hot spa water pools, various kinds of saunas and plenty of relaxation after a busy day around town (the spa closes at 10 pm – a ticket costs about € 8 – bring you own costume, towel and slip-ons). The city of Budapest has a centuries-old spa tradition and boasts dozens of facilities, from those of Turkish origin dating back to the 16th century right up to buildings in neo-classic (like the Szecheniy spa or art nouveau such as the Gellert spa) or modern style.

The Jokai square, alongside the apartment, is busy throughout the year, being packed with good restaurants, cafés, internet bars, casinos, clubs; the quarter offers endless entertainment possibilities and is lively at any hour of the day or night. The bars and restaurants offer excellent tokay wines accompanied by delicious Hungarian and international dishes.
