Apaczai studio apartment is in the city' best location with breathtaking views of the Royal Castle, River Danube, Gellert Hills with Citadel and Elizabeth Bridge. These are the part of the World Heritage today.
The apartment is situated in the heart of the dowtown - Apaczai street - at the begining of vibrant Danube promenade and within walking distance of most popular tourist attractions. Majority of the big hotels are also located in these area: Marriott, InterContinental, Sofitel, Four Season, Kempinsky. The stylish pedestrianised shopping street, the Vaci utca is only 2 minutes walk from the apartment.
The main intersection of the metro lines, bus and tram lines in Budapest is also about 5 minutes walk away from the apartment, so it is easy to reach all important places.
You will find a great selection of restaurant (hungarian, italian, french) cafe's and bars for every taste.
The best place to start the sightseeing is the Citadella on Gellért Hill, or looking down from between the turrets of the famous Fisherman's Bastion in Buda's Castle District. A boat trip, a stroll along the embankment on the Pest side of the Danube or a ride on the number 2 tram is a good way to take in the hills of Buda and the giant Parliament building. Other must-see landmarks include Europe's largest Synagogue, the Szent István Basilica and the Buda Royal Palace – not to mention the Széchenyi Lánchíd (Chain Bridge), Erzsébet híd (Elizabeth Bridge). The long walk down the majestic Andrássy út ends at Hősök tere (Heroes' Square), an extravagant monument to Hungary's key historical figures, and Városliget (City Park), which boasts a host of attractions of its own.
Margitsziget (Margaret Island) is a hub for outdoor activities, and the tranquil hills of Buda offer a haven for cyclists and hikers.
