Apartment Art Deco Budapest is a luxury apartment located in one of the most central parts of downtown Budapest, just off Madach Square and a minutes walk from Déak Square and surrounded by countless places of interest, cultural activities, stores, restaurants, bars, pubs, clubs etc.
The apartment is extremely quiet as it is situated on the ground floor on the rear side of the building, on Asboth utca, which is a no through road with minimal traffic. However once you step outside the buildings’ front door and turn the corner you find yourself in one of the most vibrant parts of the city. The apartment looks out onto a shady green and flowery terrace, which can be used by guests for relaxing after a long day of discovering the city.
Garden furniture (table and chairs) is present on the terrace.
The Apartment Art Deco is 50m2 area, and comprises a separate bedroom, 1 living room/bedroom, a well-equipped American style kitchen/diner, bathroom with massage shower cabin and a separate WC.
The kitchen has a full range of appliances including: 4-ring gas cooking hob, refrigerator, microwave, electric toaster, electric kettle, filter coffee machine and filter papers and all necessary pots, pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery, plus a supply of coffee, tea, spices, cooking oil and condiments.
There are sleeping facilities for up to 4 persons comprising: 2 single beds and a corner unit sofa bed, which extends into a comfortable double bed.

To enable our business guests to keep in contact with their office a full PC has been installed in the apartment with ADSL hi-speed Internet connection. If you're here on vacation, stay in touch with your family and friends by Email, or talk to them with the installed Skype application, complete with microphone and loudspeakers. Download and Email your holiday photos with the card reader provided, suitable for numerous type of storage cards.
The apartment has been completely renovated and equipped in July 2007 and is furnished with several pieces of genuine Art Deco furniture and ornaments purchased from antique shops or renovated by the apartment owner. All other furniture, equipment, fittings etc. are completely new as of July 2007.
In Budapest, location is everything...
Everything that a visitor to Budapest could wish for is within minutes walk of the apartment, including: supermarkets, currency exchange offices, ATMs, numerous fast-food and other restaurants including MacDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Subway, to name but a few, in addition to traditional Hungarian restaurants, Kosher restaurants and all types of international restaurants. Directly opposite the apartment is a low-cost lunch cafeteria and a few doors further the Castro Bisztro coffee house. A pharmacy is one minute’s walk away and a Second-Hand English book store and the English language Merlin Theatre are within 5 minutes walk.
The Central Synagogue, the largest in Central and Eastern Europe is located within 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment at the start of the area that was the Jewish Ghetto during the Second World War. The St. Stephen’s Basilica is located 5-7 minutes walk.
Just a few hundred meters away are the well-known Vaci utca, the main pedestrian shopping street of Budapest and the Central Market Hall. Another couple of minutes walk from either of these will bring you to the banks of the River Danube, with its magnificent views of the Budapest Castle, Citadel and bridges.
For access to parts of Budapest outside of the immediate area, public transport by bus, tram or via the metro is just a 2-3 minute walk from the apartment at Déak Square, which is the main intersection for the whole of the Budapest metro system. A bus service to the Castle Area on the Buda side of the Danube runs from Déak Square.
