 Lovely flat, about 5 mins from Louisa metro. Very clean and tidy and good service.We had two criticisms (though not sufficient to stop us from going back): it was too open plan for our liking and the stairs were very narrow - probably difficult for any family with young children Ken Macdonald (03-03-2011) Pros - Excellent location, Very clean and tidy property. Very efficient staff and very responsive to phone calls and requests.Cons - Biggest problem is inadequate curtains. Very flimsy gauze which does not block out light, especially at night as there is a street lamp just outside the window on all night making the bedroom very well lit. Our son kept waking up in his cot. We ended up hanging a duvet over the curtain rail to make it dark. Upstairs bedroom has similar curtains and a skylight with no covering at all. Not baby/child friendly. Steep, narrow steps which are not apparent from the photos. No oven although there is a hob and microwave. Could not get internet to work despite accessing wifi network easily. Could have been our fault, but had no problem with wifi network at conference.Overall, not recommended with small children, but good otherwise apart from the curtain issue. (18-03-2010) |
