Downtown Oasis is a beautifully renovated classic Budapest apartment in the heart of buzzing historic downtown, perfectly located on the dividing line between the the Fashion-street-Vaci-street all-pedestrian area by the river, and the nightlife/entertainment quarter packed with trendy pubs, clubs, cafés, restaurants, theatres.

The apartment is only a few minutes walk away from blue, yellow and red metro line stops, a minute away from night buses, and trams to the Buda side - providing an ideal base for exploring Budapest’s rich past as well as its vibrant multicultural present.

The property is situated on the top floor of a historic building, with its balconies looking onto the Synagogue, a curving avenue of classic historic buildings, and the Buda hills. Staying here you can not only see Budapest’s history, but you can live in it for a while!

We are located a few minutes walk away from the biggest Metro hub in Budapest (Deak ter) where all three lines meet, so you can easily reach any part of the city. There are several tram and bus stops nearby that take you to the Buda side within a couple of minutes. The entertainment quarter starts at the opposite side of the road so within a ten minutes walk radius you'll come by hundreds different kinds of restaurants, cafes, clubs, pubs, theaters and shops of all kinds.

Most sites are within walking distance: the second biggest synagogue of Europe is right by our doorstep, the National Museum, St. Stephen Basilica, the famous Vaci street, the World Heritage Andrassy avenue and Vorosmarty square are within a five minutes walk away; it takes you only ten minutes to walk to the the State Opera House, the Chain Bridge, riverbank and enjoy it's breathtaking views, and you can reach the amazing Parliament building with a 15 minutes stroll through streets packed with beautiful historic buildings. If you like to walk, you need not more than 30 minutes to be in the Castle District on the Buda side, or taking the opposite direction, at the foot of the Gellert Hill. The the Heros' Square, the Margaret Island, or any of the famous Budapest baths are within a 30 minutes walk away, or if you prefer to use public transportation, it takes only a few stops to reach them.
