Chateau Coulon Laurensac offers an independent holiday home on the grounds of an 18th century château with a swimming pool, set in extensive private grounds just five kilometres from the centre of Bordeaux. The Chateau offers a comfortable rental unit. Margaux is a contemporary furnished and spacious L-shaped gîte on the ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen and an en suite bedroom. The careful restoration of this cottage combines traditional features like exposed beams and stone walls with modern comfort like jacuzzi bath, dishwasher and satellite TV with DVD.

Margaux is a very spacious gite (60 m2, 646 square foot) and has all the right ingredients for a perfect holiday. You will love its beautiful exposed beams and honey colored limestone walls.
Of course you will find a modern well-equipped kitchen/dining room area (table, four chairs).

Margaux has a deluxe bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, and a separate shower, double washbasins and a WC. This lovely holiday house overlooks the park and the Chateau and has its own terrace with garden furniture and parasol.

The property is set in five hectares (12 acres) of private enclosed grounds, fully landscaped with mature trees, lawns, and a rose garden, on the banks of the Garonne river. The 6 x 12 metre swimming pool is located on the south side of the château. Roman steps lead down into the water. The owners live in the château and are knowledgeable wine lovers themselves. They love to share their experience with their guests, and can arrange private chauffeur-driven wine tours.
