Bed & Breakfast Description

Surrounded by nature, 14 kms from Bayonne and the beaches of Ondres and Tarnos, 20 kms from Hossegor, 25 kms from Biarritz, Carl and Sarah a franco-welsh couple invite you to stay in one of the 2 bedrooms or the family room.

We have restored this Basco-Landaise style house built in 1870 in the truest tradition. The spirit of authenticity has been preserved in the restoration of "Narbay". You can find it in each bedroom where we have used important features of the basco-landais traditions. After a day of discovery or activities, for your confort you will find the harmony of colours and the authenticity of materials to offer you a warm atmosphere with peaceful moments.

All our bedrooms are en suite, have a desk, a private terrace with chairs. They all are more than 23 m², are fitted with good quality beds and each can have an extra bed on request. "Maison Narbay" is non smoking. For hygiene, animals are not accepted.

Depending on the season, breakfast will be served in the dinning room , or on the terrace which leads directly onto the garden. Offering homemade cakes, breads and jams, this ample tasty breakfast will lead you to discover the "art de vivre"(way of life), the peaceful, tranquil surroundings in a natural environment.

10 kms from the beach, half way between Hossegor and Biarritz, you have a few choices :if you want to rule the waves? discover Ondres and its surf school. Looking for a family beach. Tarnos and its children's beach club is for you. Looking for a more trendy beach, then discover Anglet and its"Chambre d'Amour".

Go hiking and follow one of the many signed routes that go via Narbay. Still hesitating, then take the one that leads you to St Barthélémy belvédère: there a breath taking view of the Pyrenees awaits you. Surf along along the coast, ride a horse, go fishing or discover the montanous landscape of the basque country while water-rafting down the Nive, in Bidarray(40 kms).
