This is a homely and large apartment in Barcelona with terrace, situated very close to the Passeig de Gracia, the chic avenue with all the incredible Gaudi buildings.

There is a spacious living room with a conservatory a perfect place to sit and have breakfast. The living room has a DVD player, a TV, table and chairs, shelves, armchairs and a single sofa-bed.

This Eixample holiday rental has 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single. The 6th person can sleep on the comfortable sofa-bed in the living room.

There are 2 bathrooms with bathtub and the kitchen comes fully equipped. With internet connection, a washing machine, dishwasher, air-con and heating, this apartment is certainly a good choice for your Barcelona vacation.

The metro Girona is just two blocks away from this Eixample holiday rental; this is the same line that will transport you to the beach. There are also a variety of local independent shops in this area where you can by anything from ham, cheese ice cream, to clothing or designer goods. Five minutes walk and you will be at the Casa Batllou or the house of bones as it called by the locals. This is the building inspired by the human skeletal system, providing the basis for Gaudi’s specialty for no straight lines.

On the Passeig de Gracia you will also find many other stunning examples of Barcelona’s architecture. Such as the Manzana de Discordia which means the block of discord. This is to denote the two buildings along side the Casa Batlou in very different styles from different architects such as Josep Puig I Cadafalch, who designer the Casa Amatller. Then on the other side the Casa Lleo Morera, designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner who also designed the Palau de Musica. These are three of the most famous architects for the Modernismo movement in Barcelona, all this just a few steps from your apartment in Barcelona.

The property was even better than I had thought and the location was nice. Don't expect top-quality finishes since the interior is aged but it's quite nice still. It was very clean, everything went well and the reception was both friendly and professional. (The only problem was that the washing machine wasn't working when we stayed there, but since we didn't complain I can't tell how quick the repair would have been).

The location is very good, direct connect from the apartmen to the Camp Nou by bus :-) Nr. 44 if I remember good. The flat needs a renovation, but it's clear. The window of two smaller rooms opens to black "tube". The flat is in a closed Staircase with reception. There is 0-24 flower shop and good market in front of building. Every kind of public transport are very close. Anyway, I would go again there...

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 1 nights rental of the property rented.
Within 14 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 14 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for the full rental rate.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.

If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.

Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that you subscribe to a travel insurance with our partner or with the insurance company of your choice.
