Its location within a quiet, sleepy pedestrian street contrasts vividly with the urban dynamism of the Borne district, the ancient portal to Barcelona and the modern day cradle as well as its most fashionable restaurants, galleries and museums.

Within a couple of minutes stroll, you’ll find yourself within the city’s largest municipal park, the Parc de la Ciutadella, which provides an ideal backdrop for a relaxing stroll or for breakfast/lunch in one of the excellent cafes facing onto the parks lake. In addition to the park also boasting a zoo, the casual stroller will chance upon some fine sculptural pieces commissioned for the park as part of the City’s Great Exhibition of 1888. A wander through the Borne’s winding alleys and you’ll find The Picasso Museum, The Church of Santa Maria del Mar, the Arc del Triomf, various ruins of old roman and gothic Barcelona…or the beach which lies to the back of the harbour. Very easy to arrange and meet the contact on arrival. The apartment was very pleasant. Facilities were exceeded our expectations, e.g. coffee maker. The costs is slightly prohibitive compared to a hostel/hotel and I would only book for a special occasion. The apartment was quite noisy as its next to a small square where people sit, but I guess it is to be expected in a central location.

my wife and I liked our stay in your accommodation very much. We found it well furnished with a comfortable bed, enough room for placing our clothes, a modern and clean bathroom and a well equiped kitchen. The central location within a living city made it very easy for us to reach any point within Barcelona. There was quite a lively mood on the little place under our window, without having disturbed our in any way. Both of us were very impressed of the fine an different colours of the stone wall beside the bed. Whenever we hear of any need of an accommodation in Barcelona we will recommend your apartment to friends and acquaintances.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 1 nights rental of the property rented. Every effort will be made to find a replacement tenant, in which case the Client will be reimbursed pro-rata, minus a 50% service charge and not be liable for the 1 nights rental.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 4 nights rental.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
