Brand new (2010) holiday apartment rental in Barcelona located on the street bordering the mediaeval Santa Maria del Mar church, the very center of the historical and trendy Borne district.

This Barcelona apartment with wireless internet is a 45sqm studio that can sleep 3 people: there is one twin bed that can be made into a double (see photo) and a single sofa-bed cleverly separated from the main sleeping area. There is a table with seating for 3 and the windows give out onto the back street so it is very quiet.

The kitchen located by the entrance of the apartment is fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, ustensils, oven, fridge-freezer, toaster and electric kettle.

The brand new bathroom comes with a rain shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rack. There is a common roof-top terrace in the buidling that can be used for hanging clothes or for sunbathing.

The owner only accepts well-behaved guests - no parties are allowed. Best suited for couples or small families.

This holiday apartment rental in Barcelona is situated in the trendy neighborhood of El Born, with its artisan cafés and bars, clubs and restaurants, art galleries and museums - including the Picasso Museum, Textile Museum and the Chocolate Museum.

The district lays between the historic Gothic church of Santa Maria del Mar and the enormous covered market “Mercado del Borne,” where significant archaeological remains have recently been uncovered.

A short 10 minutes walk will take you to Las Ramblas, Barcelona's most famous promenade.

This Barcelona apartment is well served by public transport - the nearest metro Jaume 1 is just a 2-minutes walk away - and for sun lovers, a lovely 15-minutes walk takes you right to the beach.

WOW! What an amazing stay. The apartment was great! Equipped with everything we needed and MORE! Location is perfect for anybody wanting to explore the Old City on foot. We stayed for 7 nights and wished we didn't have to go.Rosa was the cherry on top of an awesome chocolate sundae :)I'll be using holiday velvet for all my accommodation bookings in the future. Thanks guys for adding to a really memorable vacation.

The apartment was perfect! The location is amazing. You are in the heart of the Born, right next to Santa Maria del Mar. The area is full of shops and restaurants and there's a very handy convenience store right next door. The quality of the apartment is very high and it was immaculate. The kitchen and bathroom (including the shower) were excellent. Rosa was prompt in meeting us to check in and check out.We stayed for 7 days in May, 2011. We are so glad that we chose apt. Alfons instead of a charmless hotel room!

Great little apartment, perfect for a couple or even for 3 (not separate rooms though). Brand new kitchen, great location and owners were very nice and relaxed.. Recommend to anyone looking to spend this amount as it is value for the money

This apartment is perfect, i would highly recommend. Great place for 2 or even 3 people. Has all facilities in kitchen and is brand new and very very clean. Surrounding area is very nice and of course its central to everything.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 31 days prior warning, 25% of the booking deposit is reimbursed.

Within 30 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 30 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for the amount of 1 nights rental of the property rented.
Within 7 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 7 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for 4 nights rental.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.

If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.

Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that you subscribe to a travel insurance with our partner or with the insurance company of your choice.
