Vacation Rental Description

This holiday apartment in Barcelona is right in the centre of the shopping district in the Gothic Quarter. It's been recently renovated while still keeping the original hard wood floors and exposed wooden beam ceilings. The Barcelona vacation apartment is bathed with natural light from both sides of the building. You'll be a short walk distance to all the sights of Barcelona including Las Ramblas and the marina.

This Barcelona rental apartment comprises of two double beds which comfortably allow for 4 guests. One bedroom has built in armoirs and the other, just of fthe living room has a Japanese style decor. There are comfy sofas in the living room as well as a TV, DVD, full Stereo with CD and 2 balconies. The kitchen comes with two hobs, microwave, fridge, table and chairs. There's one full bathroom and an additional WC.

This building is new having been completed 35 years ago compared to the others in the neighborhood. Elevator and 24 hour security door.

Located at the cross streets of Pino and Portaferrisa and just 3 minutes stroll from the Ramblas and 2 minutes to the Cathedral, this is a shoppers heaven! Here you can find all the name brands and others that are just beginning to make noise in the fashion world. There is an impressive collection of cafes specializing in thick hot chocolate and pastries – favorites among the locals!

There are also many antique cafes, bars, and bodegas guarding the Catalan tradition of enjoying a small bite to eat and a copa over conversation during a work or shop break! Just down the block is the well known Plaza del Pi where many artesanal goods from the Pyrenese are sold on weekends to the tune of jazz buskers!

With the metro Plaza Catalunya just 5 minutes away, it is extremely easy to explore anywhere in or out of the city! At night the area is quiet, and the best is that you do not have to walk far to find a good beat down the Ramblas or up into the Eixample.
