Bali Villa: villa pelangi

This Bali villa has 4 bedrooms with in each room a double four-poster bed with a mosquito net, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen and a spacious living room with two patio doors to the terrace with a fantastic view of the sea. On the 2,000 m2 plot of land, besides the Bali villa, there is also a guest house. Together they have room for 10 persons; 8 persons in the villa and 2 in the guest house. The guest house has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and an open kitchen. All rooms have airconditioning for a comfortable temperature at night. You don’t even have to bring your own towels and bedlinnen.

Furnishing
In the living room there is a dining table for 8 persons, a large corner sofa plus arm chairs, a coffee table and there is a LCD television, a DVD-player and a stereo.The kitchen is fitted with a refrigerator/freezer, a water cooler and everything needed to serve you a lovely meal.
There is also wireless internet available. If you purchase a voucher, you will get limited acces to the wireless internet.

Service and personnel
Six days a week you have personnel at your service who will cook, wash and clean for you.If you want, they will also do the grocery shopping for you (at your own cost, but groceries are very cheap). The upkeep of the swimming pool and the garden will also be taken care of by our personnel six days a week

Security
The villa has an own security post which has a guard in the evening and at night so you can enjoy a safe and undisturbed night’s rest.

Chauffeur
If desired, we can provide a chauffeur who will pick you up at the airport and bring you to the villa. The drive to the villa takes about 2,5 hours. The chauffeur will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign with your name on it. The costs for this pick up-service is about 500,000 rupia (approximately 35 euro’s). The costs of this pick up-service are for your own account.

In case you have any questions regarding the villa or if something is broken or does not work, you can contact the Dutch-speaking helpdesk. You will find all relevant information in the folder in the villa.

Information folder
In this folder you will find all practical information about the villa, the environment, telephone numbers of the chauffeur, the doctor and the helpdesk and all other useful information.

Activities

Golf
At about 1 hour’s drive there is a beautiful 18-hole golfcourse at a height of 1,142 meters (Bali handara kosaido country club). If you want to escape from the heat of the lowlands, you can play a round of golf at pleasantly cooler temperatures. http://www.balihandarakosaido.com

Dolphins
You will have to get out of bed early to take part in this unforgettable boat trip to get into eye to eye contact with dolphins. These big schools of dolphins are looking for schrimp between 6 and 9 in the morning. After 9 the chances of meeting dolphins are a lot smaller. You can also enjoy the beautiful sunrise.

Diving / snorkeling

From Labuhan Lalang (about 1 hour’s drive), you can sail with the boats that go to Menjangan island to enjoy the fantastic nature under water; an absolut must for divers and people who like to go snorkeling. You will be amazed at the amounts and the species of fish over here. You can rent the diving/snorkeling equipment at the departure area of the boat

Hot springs
In Banjar, in the middle of the jungle, you will find the Permandian Air Panas hot springs, where you can relax in the warm mineral water (do not forget to bring swimwear).

National park

Taman Nasional Bali Barat, this park is about 76,000 acres, of which 50,000 acres is overgrown. You will find all sorts of wild animals, among others; muntjaks, leopards, monkeys, snakes and several species of birds.

Botanical Garden
Bedugul Botanical Garden (Kebun Raya Eka Karya) Located in the mountains of Bedugul is this 150 acres garden near the Bratan lake.

National park

Here, you will find over more than 1,100 different species of trees and plants, under which over 300 species of orchids and over 100 different types of cactuses.

You can rent the villa and the guest house for a longer period of time
2. the price will be adjusted. You also have to pay a security bond of € 150. Prices are including: gas and water electricity personnel helpdesk use of bedlinnen, towels and swimming towels use of electrical appliances Gas, water and electricity are included in the rental prices
3. and in standard use this is about 7 to 10 euro’s per day, depending on the occupation of the villa and the guest house. This price will get higher if the airco is used unnecessarily. We therefore advise you to turn on the airco a half an hour before going to bed. We reserve every right to deduct the costs of extreme electricity consumption from the security bond. Reservations and payment If you wish to make a reservation, you need to fill in the application form, we will send you a confirmation of the reservation as soon as possible. Within 7 days, 50% of the rental price has to be paid, only then will the reservation be definite. The remaining 50% plus the security bond has to be paid 6 weeks before arrival. The deposit is non-refundable so you need to take care of a cancellation insurance yourself. The security bond will be repayed 14 days after leaving the villa and the guest house. The villa and the guest house will be inspected by the personnel upon arrival and upon departure. Costs for possible damage or missing objects will be deducted from the security bond.
