The graceful architecture of this holiday villa accommodation in Ubud is a blend of contemporary elegance with ethnic charm and is comprised of teak furniture complemented by clean lines, natural colours and local materials.  Entering through antique double doors, you come upon the cool interior of the villa which extends towards a T-shaped wooden terrace.

A sizeable, open-air living area, the dining area and the bedrooms are all on the main level with steps leading down into the garden.  All of the 4 bedrooms have parquet floors, king-size beds, en-suite bathrooms with a bathub, fitted wardrobes, a safety deposit box and sliding glass doors to a terrace.  Three of these bedrooms are located in the main house.  A separate thatched pavilion houses the cosy fourth bedroom that also doubles as an air-conditioned lounge with an en-suite bathroom.

An arched gateway with rustic Balinese doors marks the entrance to the beautiful tropical garden accessed by stone steps that leads to the pool area with a large freeform swimming pool a relaxation gazebo that has cushioned daybeds and sun loungers.

The villa is fully serviced by a Villa Manager, two cooks, two maids, one security guard and two gardeners and pool attendants.

Guests also benefit from satellite TV, a DVD/CD player (plus library), bed linens and towels and a telephone.  Additional optional services include Internet access.

This large, self-catering Bali villa is located in the Goa Gaja neighbourhood in the Ubud area of Bali.  Ubud (10 minutes away) is Bali’s centre for fine arts, dance and music, while the surrounding villages are home to Bali's most accomplished painters, dancers, musicians and carvers.

This remarkable town is encompassed by magnificent terraced rice fields, rivers, traditional villages, art and craft communities, ancient temples and palaces. It is located 300 metres above sea level in the foothills of the central mountain range; this gives it a fresher, more pleasant climate than the southern coastal regions.

The numerous art galleries in Ubud feature traditional and modern work; the museums showcase the island's rich history, and the shops and the market stalls sell handicrafts, jewellery, woodcarvings, textiles, paintings and antiques.

There are many, well-presented, cultural performances staged in the town, in particular the Hindu epic, the Ramayana; also the Kecak dance, the fire dance, the monkey dance and the Legong dance.
