Bali Villa: Semarapura

This private five bedroom beachfront Bali villa is situated on the southwest coast of the island between Canggu and Tanah Lot and has 180-degree panoramic sea views.  The expansive property which is spread throughout sprawling lawns and stunning gardens is comprised of a series of pavilions, a swimming pool and a home theatre and games room and can sleep up to 12 guests which is a perfect option for families or a group of friends.  It is also an ideal venue for weddings or other special events.

All of the 5 spacious en-suite bedrooms in this short-term rental accommodation in Canggu have timber floors and are equipped with TVs, DVD players and iPod docks.  Four bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds and one is furnished with twin beds that can be converted to a king bed.  All of the bathrooms feature bathtubs and a walk-in shower.  Four of the bathrooms have an additional outdoor shower. 

The standalone Master Suite is blessed with beautiful views.  It also features a covered terrace with a timber deck and a Jacuzzi and has steps that lead down to a private bale relaxation pavilion with a double hammock.  Two of the guest bedrooms are complemented by a private garden area with a pergola covered daybed.  There is a separate guest suite set on two levels comprising a spacious master guest bedroom and the twin bedroom on the lower level also has its own bathroom and garden level terrace

On the upper level of a 2-storey pavilion is the open-air living affording magnificent views of the garden, the sea temple and Bali’s spectacular coastline all the way down to Uluwatu on the Island’s extreme southwest peninsula.  It is furnished with antiques and characterised by 2 distinct sitting areas.

On the lower level is the media room complete with a casual bar for house guests, a games area with a pool table and a card table, an L-shaped sofa, arm chairs, ottomans, and home theatre with a large, flat-screen satellite TV, a DVD player and a Bose surround sound system. A door leads into a guest washroom.

The standalone dining pavilion is fitted with a circular dining table that can be extended to seat up to 15 guests in air-conditioned comfort or the bi-fold glass doors can be opened for semi-, al fresco dining.  The designer, fully-equipped kitchen has two islands, a service bar with bar chairs, an imported oven and a 5-burner hob.  A service area is tucked away out of sight at the back.

The magnificent outside area for complete relaxation or a fabulous outside celebration has a private swimming pool and ornamental ponds, an open-sided chill-out pavilion, a timber deck and barbecue, an al fresco bar complete with a wine chiller, fridge and bar stools.

Facilities also include a car and driver and use of a shared tennis court.

This five bedroom beachfront Bali villa is situated between Canggu and Tanah Lot on Bali’s southwest coast.  It is located near therugged black sand Cemagi Beach which is just a few metres away and the glorious views take in the distant volcanoes, dramatic coastline and neighbouring Hindu sea temple of Pura Bata Ngandang, perched on a rocky outcrop and lashed by the waves of the Indian Ocean.

The trendy Seminyak area is just a 25-minute drive from the villa, presenting an exciting nightlife, together with an abundance of boutiques, luxurious spas, and internationally acclaimed restaurants, including the famous Ku de Ta, ‘Kafé Warisan, La Lucciola and Sarong restaurants.

The Bali International Airport is approximately a 55-minute drive depending on the traffic.
