Bali Villa: Sanur Residence

This incredible and breathtaking Sanur nine bedroom beachfront villa in Bali is ideally situated in a rural beachside setting less than 10 minutes from the historical village centre.  The expansive residence and terrace garden comprises 9 nine bedrooms (sleeping up to 18 guests) within 3 self-contained buildings making it an ideal venue for families, a large group of friends, weddings, parties or special celebrations.  The 3 individual buildings share a number of common facilities including the garden, the 23 x 1.5-metre swimming pool and a communal dining room.

Characterised by contemporary tropical architecture, this magnificent holiday accommodation in Sanur has an abundance of light, huge aluminum-framed picture windows, broad balcony-terraces and a crisp white décor.  Each 2-storey building accommodates up to 6 people. All 3 buildings boast different features, but each includes 3 bedrooms with en-suite marble bathrooms, a living room and dining room with a table for 6 guests, a fully-fitted kitchen, additional sitting areas and spacious terraces.  Every room in the residence is air-conditioned and has the option of ceiling fans.  Every bedroom features a timber floor and is equipped with a TV, a DVD player, a telephone, a safe deposit box and an emergency button. 

Building 1 has an open-plan living, media and dining room and is furnished with an L-shaped sofa, a nestle of coffee tables, a dining table, and a flat-screen satellite TV and DVD player and music system.  An alternative cozy sitting area overlooks the gardens and view.  The master bedroom is located on the ground floor and has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower and a Jacuzzi bathtub.  Bedrooms 2 and 3 are located upstairs.  Bedroom 2 has twin beds and Bedroom 3 has a queen-size bed.  Both have bathrooms fitted with a shower and they share a sunken Jacuzzi bathtub.

The semi-, open-air main dining room has 8 individual tables and glass doors and is located next to the full service kitchen.  The integrated kitchen is fully-equipped and also includes a walk-in storeroom.  A guest washroom is located next to the open staircase. There is also a wine cellar and an adjoining guest washroom.

Building 2 is the centre building of the residence.  The kitchen (similar to Building 1) is located to one side and is complete with a breakfast bar and high seats.  The master bedroom located upstairs has a terrace, twin beds, a living area with sofas and a fridge.  Part of the terrace features a small wooden sundeck furnished with chairs and an umbrella and accessed from the sitting area. The huge en-suite bathroom is fitted with a rain shower and a Jacuzzi bathtub.  Bedrooms 2 and 3 are located downstairs and furnished with queen-size beds and share a bathroom.

The living and media room has two exquisite sofas, bean bags and a 42-inch plasma screen TV and a DVD player.  Glass doors open up onto a terrace with a daybed. There is a guest washroom.  The dining room features a dining table and the kitchen is located to the side (similar to Building 1) and also complete with a breakfast bar and high seats.

Building 3 has a central living area furnished with a large daybed facing the ocean.  The dining area is complete with a table for 6 guests located next to a sheltered wooden deck.  The kitchen is similar to Buildings 1 and 2.  This building features a queen-size master bedroom with a sitting area and an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower and a Jacuzzi bathtub.  Bedroom 2 is furnished with a twin bed and a futon and Bedroom 3 has a queen-size bed and a sofa.  Both feature en-suite bathrooms linked by a Jacuzzi bathtub.

This is the only building with a separate, self-contained media room – a cozy home theatre with a 60-inch screen for projecting movies and satellite TV channels. The room is furnished with a sofa, beanbags and shelf units.

All 3 of the buildings have their own terraces.

This quiet nine bedroom beachfront villa in Bali is situated in a rural setting close to Sanur village.  The property is blessed with dramatic views of the coastline and the ocean, stretching all the way from Sanur to Mt Agung in the east.

The recent construction of the Sanur-Kusumba by-pass, from Seminyak to Candidasa, positions the residence within easy driving distance to most of Bali’s tourist attractions.

The diversity of Bali presents everything from diving, cultural show, cruising and trekking, to adventure sports and theme parks. Horse riding takes place at the Saba stables, and three of the best golf courses in the world are located within easy driving distance.

In the early mornings, the mysterious towering sea cliffs of the neighboring Nusa Penida Island can be seen. The beach is just 50 meters away and is good for surfing and safe for swimming. It is accessed via a path through the rice fields, and boasts a private timber deck for the use of guests at the residence. From here it is fun to watch the local fishermen going out every day in their colorful jukung outrigger boats.

This holiday accommodation in Sanur is about a 30-minute drive from Bali’s International Airport, 15 minutes from the cultural town of Ubud, 10 minutes from Sukawati art and handicraft market, and conveniently close to the island’s numerous spas, shops, restaurants and vibrant nightspots.
