Boasting a fabulous location, this four bedroom beachfront villa in Bali is situated on the southeast coast of the island, close to the charming village of Ketewel and is blessed with wonderful views across the ocean towards the beaches of Keramas and the islands of Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan.  The property can sleep up to 10 guests in 4 en-suite bedrooms and also consists of a 20-metre infinity-edge swimming pool, a splendid living and dining room, a study and a fully equipped games room.

This stunning short-term accommodation in Sanur which is bounded by the River Wos and a popular surf beach is entered by a rural setting of terraced rice fields, tobacco plantations, and papaya and banana groves.

The standalone living and dining pavilion has glass walls on 3 sides designed to maximise ocean views and for an open-air tropical living experience.  The room is furnished with sofas and lazy chairs and a dining table for 8 guests and is located next to a small kitchen while the fully-equipped kitchen is located in the staff area.  Guests also have the option of dining alfresco on the elevated terrace in front of the pavilion which overlooks the garden, the pool and the ocean and is furnished with an outdoor dining table and chairs. A guest washroom is situated immediately outside the living and dining pavilion.

A stone staircase leads from the living pavilion down to the air-conditioned games room which is equipped with a billiard table, a dart board, a wood-panelled bar with 6 bar chairs, a luxurious leather sofa, and a 40” LCD screen satellite TV. The courtyard is open and furnished with a synthetic rattan bar table and high chairs together with a coffee table and chairs.

The 2-storey master suite comprises the ground floor with an en-suite bathroom and an upstairs study together with a DVD room and a corner sofa that can be converted into twin beds.  It is furnished with a 4-poster, king-size bed and en-suite bathroom that has a rain shower and Jacuzzi.

The 3 other bedrooms are located on the ground floor.  One is furnished with a king-size bed, one with a queen-size bed and the third has twin beds.  Each features a dressing area and is complemented with an en-suite garden bathroom – all have rain showers and one has an additional bathtub.

The beautiful pool and garden area is dominated by a 20 x 4 metre, infinity-edge lap pool that follows the line of the beach and is elevated above a beachside lawn. A large ‘bale bengong’ relaxation pavilion is situated at one end of the pool and is fitted with 2, large mattresses, making it an ideal spot for a massage. At the other end of the pool is a wood-panelled pool bar with a pitched roof. The pool deck is furnished with sun-loungers and umbrellas and there is also a pool shower.

This four bedroom beachfront villa in Bali is located on the southeast part of the island and close to the village of Ketewel.  The streets of the village are lined with leafy trees; a small intersection is the venue of a fruit and vegetable market, and colourful temple ceremonies are a common sight.

Ketewel village is the origin of the famous Legong Bededari Dance, while the nearby village of Sawa historically produced the finest Legong dancers on the island. The beach of Pabean was once a small port through which oriental traders brought their products; at low tide you can still see the structure of the old harbour, and a Chinese cemetery is located nearby. Balinese Hindu purification ceremonies are held beside the ocean at the sacred Pura Segara sea temple, and the adjacent reef is renowned for its world class surf breaks.

The Sanur-Kusumba by-pass, from Seminyak to Candi Dasa, has made this rural area accessible to the rest of the island and positions the villa within easy driving distance of Bali’s tourist attractions.

This short-term accommodation in Sanur is just a 40-minute drive to Bali’s International Airport, 30 minutes from the cultural capital of Ubud, 10 minutes from Sukawati art and handicraft market, 10 minutes from Sanur, and 30-45 minutes from the restaurants, shops and nightlife of Kuta and Seminyak.
