Bali Villa: Hansa

With its positive energy and genuine Balinese hospitality, this holiday accommodation in Bali with a pool is nestled within the small village of Delod Padonan and surrounded by the rice fields of Pererenan in southwest Bali.  Villa Hansa or “The Goddess of Knowledge” is an eco-friendly riverside property which can sleep up to 10 guests and consists of a main, open-air pavilion housing the living-dining room, the kitchen, the adjoining staff quarters, 4 en-suite bedrooms, a yoga room and the pool, garden and bale area.

This delightful villa rental in Canggu blends contemporary and traditional Balinese style.  All 4 of the bedrooms are located poolside in 2 separate outdoor wings in the gardens.  Exquisitely furnished, they have 4-poster king-size beds, a safe deposit box, air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms – 2 with a bathtub and shower and 2 with a shower only.  Two of the bedrooms are located in a one-storey pavilion while the other 2 are located in a two-storey pavilion.

Other features include a standalone glass-encased and tastefully decorated yoga room fitted with antique pieces and furniture, a wood table, yoga mats and plenty of Balinese floor cushions.  The multi-functional room also contains the villas only plasma TV with 380 channels, plus a DVD/CD player and a Bose Sound System.

Manicured lawns and lovely gardens of exotic blooms and leafy trees stretch down to the infinity-edge pool (18 x 6m, 2m depth) where the shallow end doubles as a customized whirlpool.  There are 6 sun beds and 1 daybed that furnish the deck area while antique wood chairs and tables sit below a frangipani tree.

The villa is fully staffed by a welcoming team of 10 people.

This holiday accommodation in Bali with a pool is situated in Delod Padonan – one of several villages within the sleepy coastal suburb of Pererenan which is part of Bali’s Badung District.  This small community offers a predominantly local flavor and opportunities to experience traditional Balinese culture. 

This villa rental in Canggu is within easy access of a string of some of Bali’s finest surfing beaches; Pererenan Beach is a mere 300m walk away and legendary surfer’s haunt, Echo Beach, is 10 minutes by car.

Unlike other villages in the area, there is no foreign development here.  Hiking through the surrounding rice fields is possible and several naturally beautiful beaches renowned for their surf are within easy access.

Bali’s premier sports and leisure club, the Canggu Club, is a 20-minute drive and offers upscale international-standard dining and leisure facilities.  Bali’s most fashionable and cosmopolitan enclave, Seminyak, is about a 25-minute drive south and has an abundance of chic boutiques and hip bars and restaurants.
