Vacation Rental Description

Located in the charming settlement of Great Guana Cay, this accommodation in the Bahamas is just a 2 minute walk to one of the most gorgeous beaches.

The interior of the cottage is decorated with a tropical theme and features many paintings done by our family and a brightly colored mural in the bar area. One of the bathrooms even has a cute hula skirt shower curtain! In addition to the deck, there is a screened in porch and an outdoor shower.

Beach Walk Cottage has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a King size bed with storage. The second bedroom has a double and a twin and the third bedroom has an adult sized bunk bed.There are 2 full bathrooms one of which has a hair dryer and the kitchen is fully equipped.

The tropical garden features Queen Emma lilies, bouganvillea, hibiscus, crotons, and coconut, manila & ceiling wax palms.

About Bahamas Abaco

Beach Walk Cottage is a 2 minute walk to one of the most beautiful white sand beaches you will ever see. Just off the beach is great snorkeling on the third largest barrier reef in the world.

We are within short walking distance to Nippers & Grabbers, The Art Cafe, Miss Love's Kitchen, the public dock and Fig Tree Liquors. Sip your morning tea or evening cocktail on the 'surfboard' deck and watch the world go by. You will soon find that the residents of Guana are some of the friendliest people in the world! 

A bit further but also within walking distance is Guana Grocery and Orchid Bay Marina and Restaurant.

You might need a golf cart to get to Docksiders Restaurant and Dive Guana but the golf cart rental agency is less than a minute walk from our cottage.

Great Guana Cay is a small, tropical barrier island and the settlement is charming and quite bohemian. It's very casual and laid back, no need to dress up just bring your bathing suit, some shorts and tees and flip flops.

o get to our island, you'll either take a ferry from Marsh Harbour or your rental boat. There are endless places to explore and things to do on a boat; deserted islands, great fishing, snorkeling and diving, and island hopping.

If you're not renting a boat but want to explore, a trip with Dive Guana is a must. The food on Guana is wonderful from bahamian specialties to gourmet. The Pig Roast at Nippers every Sunday is a great way to meet new friends and have a good time.
