Vacation Rental Description

A Majlis is the entertainment area of an Arabic home and this delightful Auckland vacation villa has a distinct Middle Eastern flavour where we hope you will feel welcome. It is situated in Hekerua Bay (just beyond Little Oneroa) on Waiheke Island.

The living area on the top floor commands stunning views over the Hauraki Gulf to Little Barrier Island and Coromandel. This area is furnished with artefacts brought back from the Middle East including Iranian carpets, an Omani chest and a Kashmiri swing. These items, along with many original art works create an exotic environment in which to relax and enjoy the delights of Waiheke. The two double bedrooms on the lower floor look out over native bush with a glimpse of the sea whilst lying in bed.

About Auckland Waiheke Island

A five minute walk on a private walkway through native bush will bring you to the secluded beach of picturesque Hekerua Bay. Here there is safe swimming, snorkeling and fishing.

From the bay you can access the Waiheke Coastal walkway to the golden sands of Sandy Bay and on to enclosure Bay or stroll to the shops of Oneroa about 20 minutes away.
