Vacation Rental Description

Sundowners Luxury 3 Bedroom Villa  + FREE Suv for stay (worth US$70 a day), is a perfect country retreat situated in the centre of the Island, off Jonas Road & down a stony cul-de-sac.  This is truly a sweet deal in the Caribbean.   'Monty' can transport you within 15 minutes to English Harbour; Shirley Heights; St. John's city & many of our wonderful beaches, Hotels & Restaurants in comfort.   Sundowners is beautifully furnished & fully equipped for self-catering up to 6 people in spacious luxury with open plan interior.   We are Eco-friendly & the views from the front gallery show Freeman's village & sweep of hills to the south coming round to the west, where in the distance lie St. John's city, nearby Sir Vivian Richards' Cricket Stadium & Airport to the north.  

The 1/2 acre fully fenced garden is now a profusion of  lush tropical flowering plants, fruit trees & palms with sunset gardens that set the scene for relaxation along the galleries with robins, hummingbirds, bananaquits & doves enjoying the many flowers & using the water pots for drinking & splash baths.   Our 2 gym units are a Monark bike & Body by Jake - AB Scissor Ultra.  Early morning we often have a flock of graceful egret birds stalking the lower lawns & perching on the ficus border, looking for breakfast.  Nature, as seen from the galleries gives Sundowners a very special quality of peace & quiet with the rustling of the palms the sweet song of the birds & being as one with your surroundings.  Spacious open plan lounge, dining & kitchen with breakfast bar, bench & stools all opening out to the two natural wooden galleries through four french doors, giving a fabulous feeling of extended outdoor living, with the refreshing prevailing winds keeping you cool.  The master bedroom  has a King size bed, with headboard, lights & bedside shelves with 4 large drawers beneath, dressing table with framed mirror, 3 drawers, two-seater stool, louvred closet + shelves, woven laundry basket & standing fan.  The en suite shower-room has a pedestal sink, large overhead cabinet with shelves & mirror, w.c., glass wall dividing the shower section that is totally tiled with a good massage shower head.  The two other bedroms can be either two King size beds or 4 single beds including headboards/lights/shelves & drawers.   Both bedrooms are also equipped with dressing tables,mirrors & drawers, stools, closets, laundry baskets and table-top fans.  They share the second shower-room which is equipped similarly to the master en suite.  All 3 bedrooms & both shower-rooms are fitted with jalousied shutters to ensure shade from the morning sun, keeping the rain out but allowing the tradewinds to flow through each room to freshen & keep you cool as well as the rest of the Villa.

The galleries provide ultra-coolness from the shutters with the rain falling off into the sunset gardens & the wiind blowing throughout, you can also enjoy the luxury of comfortable chairs, a pair of hammocks, the gym equipment & use of several coffee tables.  Monty, a 7 seat Mitsubishi Montero is provided FREE for your stay, to give you the freedom to make the most of your holiday. Pack a picnic in the cooler and you can go to a different location everyday.  Find a special beach for yourselves.

Not just one, but all the beaches of Antigua are within easy reach with many lovely Restaurants, Hotels & Bars.  Exciting adventure & eco-friendly boating trips abound.  No-where is far away with 'Monty' taking you in comfort with the comfort & space at Sundowners, where you are surrounded by beautiful views of the countryside plus the added benefits of the quiet ambience along the galleries & being as one with nature. 

The Airport  & City centre are within 15 mins drive as is the Championship Golf Course at Cedar Grove.   English Harbour, the Dockyard, Museum & Shirley Heights now mostly restored - depict much of  the history of Nelson's times in Antigua.   The build-up to Sailng Week boosts many fabulous yachts & motorized ships.  It only takes 10 - 12 minutes to reach Falmouith & English Harbour & there are several great beaches there too.  With 'Monty' our SUV there are many beaches around the whole coast of Antigua it will not take you long to find one, for you alone.

2.   Secluded Sundowners Villa, Galleries & garden luxuriously spacious for up to 6 people
3.   Truly peaceful, country retreat, ideal for honeymooners, a family or friends from 2 - 6 people
4.   Minimum stay 7 nights
5.   Payment GB Pounds
6. Initial, non-refundable 'Security' Deposit  25% of Total Rental
7. Deposit & Final Balance via safe International Wire Bank Transfer
8.   Balance of Rental due 6 weeks prior to arrival 
9. Use of Montero SUV is your option
10.  ' Refundable' Deposit to cover any & all Damage/Repair &/or Negligence to SUV or for Accident with fully Comprehensive Ins. Excess of GBP 500.00 in place
11.   'Refundable' Deposit for Sundowners Villa to cover any/all Breakage or Damage of GBP 150.00
12.    Both Deposits can be via Cash or Traveller's cheques on arrival
13.
