Vacation Rental Description

This Antigua Holiday Villa is situated high on a hill in Turtle Bay in the south of Antigua just a 10 minutes drive from all the shops, bars, restaurants and aminities of Falmouth and English Harbour yet located in a private and tranquil setting.

The house has incredible, panoramic views of the Caribbean. The 100ft sun deck overlooks the famous English Harbour yachting scene and to the right of the house you can spot Guadaloupe and Monsterat.

Amongst much more, the luxurious, peaceful property has a large modern kitchen with breakfast island, spacious living area with plenty of comfy seating, in and out door dining, imported pool table, satelite TV, 40ft swimming pool and jacuzzi.

The 5 bedrooms each contain a 4 poster king size bed and have ensuite bathrooms.

About Antigua Antigua

As Bellevue House is situated high on a high, walking to the beach is only for the adventurous! It can be done and is only about 15 minutes walk when going down...however the walk up is quite strenuous!

For those who do wish to keep fit, there is a fantastic trek to Rendevous beach which can be started at the house. The walk is approximately 35 minutes on a path through some wild land.

The reward at the end is a deserted sandy beach and a private swimming cove all to yourselves. For those wishing to taking it slightly easier, Pigeon beach is directly opposite the house and is about a 10 minute drive.

Also about 10 minutes from the house is the local supermarket and all the amenities of Falmouth and English Harbour. The capital of St John's is approx 30 minutes drive and the airport about 35 minutes.

The area of Turtle Bay is a quiet residential location, completely away from the main roud. It is a no-through area so the road is only used by those on their way to properties in the area.

Directly in the south of the island, the area is very popular with the yachting community and is famous for the yearly sailing regattas held in April. Nelson's Dockyard in English Harbour was once the station for Nelson and his fleet and today is a protected National Park conservation area with a quaint museum and original Georgean buildings.
