This fantastic and unique duplex Amsterdam accommodation in Centre Dam with a private terrace is located in the city centre. This gem of an apartment can sleep up to four people and is perfect for a group of friends or a family.

This apartment in Amsterdam is divided into two levels. On the first level, is the large kitchen, one double bedroom and a WC. Also on this level, is the private roof terrace with a dining table and chairs for six guests. On the second level, is the living/dining area, a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and a jacuzzi bath, and the second double bedroom.

The bright and spacious living/dining area has a sofa and a dining table with seating for six guests. The fabulous kitchen is fully equipped including a workspace island in the centre with bar stools. The windows across the kitchen open up to the terrace providing much natural light. There is also air-conditioning and WIFI.

I just don't know where to begin with my praise for this place. I've stayed in a few five star hotels in my time and plenty of upmarket locations, but I've rarely felt as well looked after as during our four days here last week. Nearly everything you could hope for has been considered; the kitchen is kitted out with the works, a more than adequate stereo pumps your music around the house, the shower is quite a luxury (as is the jacuzzi, although it's a shame we didn't get round to using it!), the split level duplex element is stunning, the decor absolutely charming and the beds so comfortable... The location of the apt. was excellent and we enjoyed our stay very much. Check in and out was no problem, even though having to use cash was a little worrisome. The price was a little high but I think with the location and nice accomodations it was a fair value. It would have been nice to have some soap for the bathrooms but having the coffee there was nice.

This is the perfect place to stay. The apartment is immaculately clean and perfectly appointed. The central location made our trip. The manager of the property Sheila is excetionally friendly and welcoming! We will definately stay here again.

This apartment has a perfect location. It could not be more central. It is right near a fantastic shopping street but sits just off track on a quiet side street. Hard to beat this location. There was an outside area that was a great sun trap, and a perfect space to chill out in the evening and have some beers before stepping outside the front door and soaking up the atmosphere of Amsterdam. The property was great. We were met closeby and taken to the property and shown around. There was a complementary bottle of wine on arrival. Unfortunately the spa wasn't working when we stayed but apart from that there were no issues.***10.07.12 Update by the Owner*** Spa bath was broken by a previous client and is now being repaired!

What a lovely place! Great location and very comfortable. Perfect for two couples. Unfortunately the spa bath and air conditioning weren't working when we were there - it would have been 5 stars otherwise. ***10.07.12 Update by the Owner*** the air-con is working perfectly well!

Fantastic location. Very central and within easy walking distance of all activities. Clean. We were contacted and met by Sheila on arrival who was very friendly and helpful. Small negative comments - the little patio's plant pots were neglected, spa bath was not working.

This place is a gem. The bedrooms are comfortable and ample, the kitchen is a cook's dream, the outdoor patio a delightful space to enjoy, and the living room is beautiful and airy. The appliances are top-notch, too. The price-to-quality ratio was quite good. Our concierge, Sheila, was terrific, helpful, informative, present, and friendly. We could hardly have been more pleased and would gladly rent this place again.

With a lovely warm welcome from Sheila, we were escorted to the apartment which was situated between the Damrak and the main shopping street. The stylish apartment was immaculate and was well equipped with all mod cons, with drinks and nibbles waiting our arrival, which was a nice touch. The 2 bedrooms provided plenty of room to sleep 4, with really comfy beds, although with a large lounge area it could easily sleep 6. We had an amazing stay! The Duplex is very close to Dam Square but a little off to the side on a quiet street, which made it great to get rest at night. Ray was an extremely attentive host, meeting us across from the train station and making sure we had everything we needed. The property is not only beautiful but spacious. We spent most of our time in the kitchen next to the terrace--which in Amsterdam is a major plus. Will definitely be back soon!

Ray was an amazing host - incredibly accommodating and helpful. The property is clean, spacious and extremely well kitted-out. The morning sun in the outdoor space is great! The location is close to Centraal Station. Though it's not on a typical Amsterdam charming canal, it is incredibly convenient to everything.

Fantastic property right in the heart of Amsterdam. This property is located right next to shopping, bars, restaurants, etc. The apartment itself is nicely decorated, very clean, and well maintained. It has everything you need including a terrace and full kitchen. The apartment is located next to two bars, but both bedrooms are completely quiet. The central train station is only a couple of blocks away and the closest street car stop is only a three minute walk. There is also a parking garage nearby, but it is very expensive (50 euro a day).The owner (Ray) is great, and was very helpful. We would certainly stay here again.
