This spacious Amsterdam duplex accommodation is located on the 1st floor of a renovated 17th-century building on Amsterdam’s renown canal belt and is close proximity to all major tourists attractions. Mixing contemporary and traditional style, this tastefully-decorated apartment is an ideal choice for those travelers looking to enjoy the hustle and bustle of city life while on holiday. This sun-filled holiday rental in Centre Dam is on 2 floors and can accommodate up to 4 people. On the first floor, there is a living room with a sofa and a chair, a TV, a DVD player and a dining table with seating for 4 guests. Additionally, there is a fully-equipped modern kitchen – perfect for preparing meals at home. On the second floor, there are 2 bedrooms – both with double beds – and a bathroom with a tub. Please note there are steep stairs in this apartment, making it less suitable for small children, the elderly, or people with disabilities. Also, pets are not allowed.

The Amsterdam duplex accommodation is located only a few minutes on foot from the Museum Quarter, home to some of the cities’ most famous museums: The Rijks Museum, The Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art and The Van Gogh Museum. The Square is also home to the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam's famed concert hall. The current partial closure of the Rijks is possibly a blessing in disguise with the museum at present housing 400 of its most famous works in what its website describes as the “Creme de la Crème”. This holiday rental in Centre Damis just a short walk from Amsterdam's largest and most popular park, Vondelpark; de Pijp, where you will find an abundance of cafés, restaurants and the famous Albert Cuypmarkt; the lively Leidse Square and P.C. Hooftstraat, one of the most expensive shopping streets in Amsterdam, home to numerous international brands. More than 14 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 14 days prior warning, 100% of of the deposit amount is non refundable.
Within 14 days: Less than 14 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total accommodation cost will be charged.
Within 24 hours: Less than 24 hours prior to arrival or cancellation without prior notice "no-show": 100% of the total accommodation cost will be charged.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.
As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
The apartment provider reserves the right to cancel or alter the booking if:1. If the guest(s) are not able to pay the pre-payment and/or remaining balance upon arrival.2. If the guest(s) are not able to show their passport, id card or drivers license upon arrival.3. If the guest(s) are not able to provide a security deposit in form of a valid credit card.4. The apartment(s) or part of it is closed due to circumstances beyond its control.5. It prejudices the reputation or causes or might cause in the apartment providers opinion, damage to the apartments and its common areas.6. The apartment provider becomes insolvent or enters into liquidation or receivership.The apartment provider will not be liable for any delay, loss, damage or expenses incurred if your booking needs to be altered or cancelled or the apartment provider is unable to perform the contractual obligations as a result of events beyond his reasonable control, which shall include but not be limited to events such as war, civil strife, terrorist activity, labor disputes, natural or man-made disaster, fire, flood, adverse weather conditions or change of local government laws.In any of these circumstances the apartment provider will refund any payments made in advance, but will have no further liability to the Client.If the apartment provider receives serious complaints or any disputes arise, he reserves the right to terminate your stay without notice and refunding payments.
