Amsterdam rental description
This apartment rental in Amsterdam is in a typical 17th Century building right in the middle of the old centre, just ten minutes walk from both Central Station and Dam Square. The apartment rental comfortably accommodates six people, the lay out spread over three floors (two with a canal view) and includes a large roof terrace and four bedrooms. A staircase takes you to the building’s second floor and the entrance to the apartment. The first level has the kitchen, dining area with a large, stylish table and a living room. The kitchen includes a microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, oven and six ring gas stove. The cosy living room is fully equipped for your entertainment with cable TV and DVD/stereo system. The second floor houses three separate bedrooms, a shower-room and the bathroom. One bedroom comes with a double bed while the other two offer a single high sleeper (excellent for children). The bathroom contains a washing machine, dryer and hairdryer. The master bedroom with king-size double bed is on the upper floor. The suite has access to a roof terrace with an excellent view over the old city centre and a picnic table for al fresco dining. Bed linen, a small & a large towel for each person are provided. Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. Pets are not allowed.

The apartment rental is located in the heart of Amsterdam and is close to the main sightseeing spots and a huge selection of popular restaurants and bars. Built on one of the city’s four main canals, the apartment building is very close to the 9-straatjes (9 Streets) and Jordaan areas. The nine streets criss-crossing the major canals offer fantastic boutique shopping, great eating-out and fabulous Old Amsterdam café entertainment. The Jordaan is a picturesque area housing much of the city’s artistic community. You’ll understand the name’s derivation from the French jardin on seeing the plentiful trees, flowers and roof gardens decorating the houses.  Location was perfect. The property was clean. The price was very competitive. I honestly can not fault the apartment and the service. ProcessHow to book: Just enter your dates, find a Amsterdam rental you like and click "Book Now". We will then ask for contact details and a down payment to reserve your accommodation in Amsterdam. That's it! Your booking is confirmed! - Cancellation Policy
More than 14 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 14 days prior warning, 100% of of the deposit amount is non refundable.
Within 14 days: Less than 14 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total accommodation cost will be charged.
Within 24 hours: Less than 24 hours prior to arrival or cancellation without prior notice "no-show": 100% of the total accommodation cost will be charged.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.
As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
The apartment provider reserves the right to cancel or alter the booking if:1. If the guest(s) are not able to pay the pre-payment and/or remaining balance upon arrival.2. If the guest(s) are not able to show their passport, id card or drivers license upon arrival.3. If the guest(s) are not able to provide a security deposit in form of a valid credit card.4. The apartment(s) or part of it is closed due to circumstances beyond its control.5. It prejudices the reputation or causes or might cause in the apartment providers opinion, damage to the apartments and its common areas.6. The apartment provider becomes insolvent or enters into liquidation or receivership.The apartment provider will not be liable for any delay, loss, damage or expenses incurred if your booking needs to be altered or cancelled or the apartment provider is unable to perform the contractual obligations as a result of events beyond his reasonable control, which shall include but not be limited to events such as war, civil strife, terrorist activity, labor disputes, natural or man-made disaster, fire, flood, adverse weather conditions or change of local government laws.In any of these circumstances the apartment provider will refund any payments made in advance, but will have no further liability to the Client.If the apartment provider receives serious complaints or any disputes arise, he reserves the right to terminate your stay without notice and refunding payments.
