Amsterdam rental description
This Amsterdam apartment is an entire house in the heart of Amsterdam centre at the 'nine streets area'. This fully furnished Amsterdam apartment has three floors and was completely renovated in December 2008 and January 2009. It is a typical Amsterdam house with a narrow staircase. On the second floor you find the master bedroom with a twin bed. Connected is a bathroom with toilet and shower. On the third floor you find another bedroom with a twin bed also with a connected bathroom with a bath/shower and toilet. Both bedrooms have flat screen TV’s and DVD players. A washing machine and dryer are also provided.

Straight from your Amsterdam apartment you can stroll to the finest restaurants, bars and night-clubs. Dam square, Leidse square and Rembrandt square are all on walking distance.  The agent was waiting for us outside the apartment as organised from the airport.The apartment had all the items we needed to make the stay enjoyable -there was teabags and coffee in the kitchen for our use.The apartment was extremely central.The stairs were initially quite daunting -I had broken my leg on a trip to Namibia 9 months before so when I saw the steep staircase which was akin to a ladder it was quite a shock.However since my business is climbing ladders(structural engineer) I took a deep breath and climbed.The apartment will be recommended to all my friends if they venture to amsredam.A lovely experience. marylyn coney (02-04-2012) A great appt in a fantastic location. My only comment would be that it is a typical Amsterdam property and the hence stairs throughout are really very steep and narrow and would not be suitable for young kids or older people. More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 20% of of the deposit amount is refunded.
Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for 25% of the total rental.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for the whole rental rate.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.
As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
