This luxury Amsterdam apartment rental with four floors at the “Nieuwmarkt” is equipped with more than you could wish for during your stay in Amsterdam. This wonderful Amsterdam accommodation can sleep up to 6 people.

Groundfloor: Entrance on street level. Studio with double bed, sitting area, terrace (with BBQ) , luxury equipped kitchen. Bathroom with shower and toilet.

The other floors of this building have a separate entrance.

1st Floor: Living room with kitchen. Comfortable lounge area with satellite-TV and Nintendo.

2nd Floor: Large bathroom with bath, separate shower, toilet. Bedroom with double bed and large wardrobe.

3rd Floor: Second bedroom with double bed. Although this is the topfloor, you will have no problems to walk around the room straight up.

This Amsterdam apartment rental is in the historical old part of the centre and is surrounded by (local)shops, restaurants, canals, redlight-district, China-town, coffeeshops and many more must see hot-spots.

this property is a gem in the heart of amsterdam, everything was right on our doorstep, the aparment was very large and roomy and had all mod cons and very clean,the price was very reasonable considering the space we had,and chris who greeted us with our keys was star!!!! a gent indeed.and i promise chris i will bring rowies and meelie puddings next time we come :).

The Neuwmarkt House property was the perfect place for our stay in Amsterdam. Everything from the Anne Frank House to the Van Gogh Museum were within walking distance. The property itself was well maintained and clean. The beds were the most comfortable that we have had on any of our travels. Our contact person at the apartment, Hanny, was very helpful not only with the accommodations but also with restaurant recommendations and general insights into the city. I would highly recommend this property for anyone staying in Amsterdam.

This apartment is amazing. Excellent central location, extremely clean, seems like its been recently renovated because all the furniture and appliances seem like new. I wont be staying anywhere else in Amsterdam ever again. Myself and my 5 friends stayed for a wkend and couldn't fault the apartment in any way. Its perfect and I'd highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in central Amsterdam.

massive and quirky property located in a bustling central location. Great views of the square and canals. we had a 3 night stay, which was about right as there is no storage for any possessions in the rooms and the double on the front is very noisey- the emptying of the glass recycling bin on the street below at 7am is guaranteed wake up call!!! the property is spread out on multiple levels each with steep and open staircases, the basement bathroom was a particular challenge. we stayed during the Autumn and had problems working the heating and it was quite hard finding an agent to answer their phone to tell us how to fix this. overall, for a group of friends an amazing place. The stairs would make the place terrifying for children.

You cannot beat the location, the comfort of this apartment, and the kindness of the owner. We absolutely loved this place. We were a group of 6 people and had several friends come over to watch World Cup games and just party for the fun of it. This place was so cool that it was difficult to get my friends to leave and go out on the town. And even when we were not having fun, just lounging around was great since the apartment was so comfy. Good memories for all.

I can't find enough superlatives to describe my experience with Holiday Velvet. The accommodation was excellent and my girlfriend and I didn't want to leave. The apartment was also in a great location with everything on your doorstep. The service provided by the owner of the apartment and James from HV was exceptional. I will always be booking through HV in the future as it was easy and good value for money. THANKS!!!

The house was brilliant; everything was nicely set up when we got there, and Matthew was absolutely fantastic, great guy. We had a really good time; the PS3, SkyHD and nice TVs were a very nice touch and the location was unbeatable! Highly recommended and will most likely book with HolidayVelvet again.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 20% of of the deposit amount is refunded.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for 50% of the total rental.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for the whole rental rate.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
