Great apartment in a good location and very helpful hosts. Yes it's very noisy at night (until 6am on Saturday's) but we had already read about that in the reviews so had the ear plugs packed which worked a treat. If you want an apartment which is in the middle of the bar/restaurant area then this is for you, if you want a quiet place you probably need to look elsewhere. Just one thing the word 'rules' seemed a little harsh - think that could be softened to make it a little nicer on arrival i.e. we hope you enjoy your stay please help us by doing the following on check out...sorry but your deposit does depend on it!

Despite all the noise and the late movement in the streets we consider it was great house in a great neighborhood, where people were friendly and helpful.It was very clean and the owner was really nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Leidse Corner, absolutely perfect. The apartment was huge, clean, and fully stocked with all necessary furnishings. The representative was on-time for both check in and check out. Transportation from the central train station is 5 minutes by light rail and a 1 block walk. All of the sights in Amsterdam are within a 20 minute walk. The location was safe and perfect for a couple or group looking to enjoy the nightlife of the city. The only potential downside is that the neighborhood is lively until 4 am, if you might consider that a problem. Make sure to get a pizza from the friendly guys downstairs at Peppino.

Vi hadde en kjempefin ferie, leiligheten var ypperlig, og selv om to eldre damer egentlig skulle reagere på nattelivet - vi syntes det var helt topp - å se ungdommen more seg. Plassering: Veldig sentralt, grei tilgang til det aller meste!

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 20% of of the deposit amount is refunded.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for 25% of the total rental.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for the whole rental rate.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
