Come and stay on this wonderful Amsterdam houseboat in Central Canal Ring located within the famed Amsterdam canal belt on the Keizersgracht and walking distance to many tourist attractions. The rental which measures 150m2 is a unique opportunity for travelers who wish to experience sleeping on the water in the centre of Amsterdam. This bright holiday accommodation Keizersgracht with large skylights can sleep up to 4 people. There is 1 bedroom with a king-size bed and a couch which converts to a double bed. Entering the cabin, you will find an area for relaxing. Below deck, there is an additional living area with a fully-equipped, open-plan kitchen, dining table and lounge room with a large sectional couch and a flat-screen TV. The bedroom is located on this level as well. At the bow of the ship, there is a bathroom with 2 showers and a sink. There is an additional toilet and laundry facilities. There are plenty of portholes to take in the beautiful surroundings, including stunning old canal houses and boats passing by. This rental also features Wi-Fi Internet, a washing machine and a dryer, a dishwasher. Please note that pets are not allowed.

This Amsterdam houseboat in Central Canal Ring is situated between the Amstel River and the eclectic Utrechtsestraat with its blend of boutiques, restaurants and old Amsterdam bars and cafés. The houseboat is only 10 minutes on foot to the lively Rembrandt square which is filled with cafes, bars, restaurants and clubs. Amsterdam's biggest gay district is nearby and also has a large concentration of bars and clubs. If you are looking for more cultural activities, the Hermitage and Museum Van Loon are both within walking distance of the houseboat as is Dam Square.  The location of this houseboat was great. It was well kitted out but it did not have an oven. Very comfortable with a tv and a good touch was the selection of dvds. Could have provided a couple of bikes, but easy to hire. I would stay there again, very novel idea instead of staying in a hotel. More than 14 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 14 days prior warning, 100% of of the deposit amount is non refundable.
Within 14 days: Less than 14 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total accommodation cost will be charged.
Within 24 hours: Less than 24 hours prior to arrival or cancellation without prior notice "no-show": 100% of the total accommodation cost will be charged.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.
As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
The apartment provider reserves the right to cancel or alter the booking if:1. If the guest(s) are not able to pay the pre-payment and/or remaining balance upon arrival.2. If the guest(s) are not able to show their passport, id card or drivers license upon arrival.3. If the guest(s) are not able to provide a security deposit in form of a valid credit card.4. The apartment(s) or part of it is closed due to circumstances beyond its control.5. It prejudices the reputation or causes or might cause in the apartment providers opinion, damage to the apartments and its common areas.6. The apartment provider becomes insolvent or enters into liquidation or receivership.The apartment provider will not be liable for any delay, loss, damage or expenses incurred if your booking needs to be altered or cancelled or the apartment provider is unable to perform the contractual obligations as a result of events beyond his reasonable control, which shall include but not be limited to events such as war, civil strife, terrorist activity, labor disputes, natural or man-made disaster, fire, flood, adverse weather conditions or change of local government laws.In any of these circumstances the apartment provider will refund any payments made in advance, but will have no further liability to the Client.If the apartment provider receives serious complaints or any disputes arise, he reserves the right to terminate your stay without notice and refunding payments.
