Located in the attractive Plantage District, this modern and inviting three bedroom Amsterdam penthouse accommodation is situated on the 3rd floor (no lift) just outside the city centre.  It is a wonderful option for up to 6 guests – families or a group of friends – who are looking for a self-contained rental option while on holiday.

This spacious and contemporary short-term rental in the Eastern Canal ring spans over 2 floors, is tastefully furnished, and features high ceilings, exposed wooden beams and parquet floors throughout.

On the upper level, there is the living and dining area, an open kitchen and 2 bedrooms.  The living and dining area features a comfortable sitting area furnished with sofas and arm chairs, audio-visual equipment and a dining table for 6 guests.  Perfect for preparing meals at home, the well-equipped kitchen includes all modern amenities.

There are 2 bedrooms located on this level – 1 with a queen-size bed and the other has 2 single beds.

On the lower level, there is a master bedroom which has a double bed.  A modern bathroom complete with a tub is also located on this level. 

The rental includes a hair dryer and an iron and an ironing board.  The bath linen we use is made of Fair-trade cotton. Fair-trade cotton is cotton that is produced durable without any insecticides in developing countries.

This three bedroom Amsterdam penthouse accommodation is located in the peaceful and attractive Plantage District in the Eastern Canal ring which was developed during the 19^th century.  The district – now largely residential – is filled with beautiful architecture and tree-lined streets.

Walking distance to the apartment, is the beautiful Amsterdam Zoo, the famous Amstel River and the cultural heart of the city.  Also located nearby is the Hollandsche Schouwburg, the Tropen Museum, the Hortus Botanicus (botanical gardens) and the only windmill in the centre of Amsterdam, De Gooyer, home to the IJ Brewery

The newly opened Hermitage Museum is 10 minutes on foot. Dam Square, the entertainment area on and around Leidseplein and Rembrandtplein can be reached within 10 minutes by tram and the city centre is just 15 minutes away by tram.

There are some fantastic bars, cafés and restaurants to be found in the area.

This short-term rental in the Eastern Canal ring is also about 10 minutes to Central Station.
