 The room was not particularly clean, and there was no toilet roll provided in the bathroom. We were let in late, and waited for about 30 minutes, however, we were allowed to leave our bags until 4pm on our check-out day. That being said, the location was absolutely perfect- within walking distance to everywhere in Amsterdam. The shower was hot and powerful- just what you need after a cold rainy day in Amsterdam. And the beds were very very comfy! I would stay here again. Tamsin (25-04-2012) Location was fantastic, really easy to find, the landlord was friendly, nice clean bathroom and large balcony is a definite plus, the steep stairs might be a problem for some but everywhere in Amsterdam has steep stairs!! More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 20% of of the deposit amount is refunded.
Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made.
Within 5 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 5 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for the whole rental rate.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.
As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
