This 17th century Amsterdam canal house is located in the western canal ring near the Central Station. It consists of 5 floors and a backhouse, all with a lot of original details. The living room on the first floor has a TV, fixed internet connection and a children's play corner. In the basement is the entrance with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, utility room and toilet. On the second floor there are 2 bedrooms with seperate beds. On the third floor one bedroom with seperate beds, bathroom with toilet and shower and seperate douche. On the 5th floor the 4th bedroom with a doublebed and a third toilet. WIFI on all floors

 Beautiful location, but slightly tired property. The local area is exceptionally central , 5 mins from central station, but also minutes from lovely, local shops. Stairs very steep to all floors, so this house will not suit young children or elderly guests. Lots of signs everywhere about SILENCE between 10pm and 9am, so clearly lots of issues with noise and the neighbours. Boiler had broken down when we arrived and local agents were uncontactable, so we had no hot water for a day. Holiday Velvet were brilliant and got them sorted out (thank you!). The agents also didn't know the correct code for the wifi. Fantastic value though, you will not find cheaper or larger property. Mark goodwin (09-03-2012) This is a very nice and clean property that is very spacious and ideally located to suit people who want to be close to the centre of Amsterdam. One thing to take note off though - this apartment has 5 floors and the stairs can be very narrow. We had a large person on our trip with us and he struggled to to get up and down the stairs. Apart from the that I do not have a bad word to say about the pleace or the service from both Holiday Velvet and the owners in Amsterdam. ProcessHow to book: Just enter your dates, find a Amsterdam rental you like and click "Book Now". We will then ask for contact details and a down payment to reserve your accommodation in Amsterdam. That's it! Your booking is confirmed! - Cancellation Policy
More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 20% of of the deposit amount is refunded.
Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for 25% of the total rental.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for the whole rental rate.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.
As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
