This is a central cozy short term stay apartment in Amsterdam with open kitchen, living/bedroom, bathroom, lift, a queen size bed and two royal sleeping sofas, tv, washing machine. This Amsterdam holiday apartment is located at Jordaan area , in front the canal Brouwergracht.

This apartment in Amsterdam is located in the Jordaan area which is at the west side of the 'Grachtengordel' (main canals). The district's borders are formed by the Lijnbaansgracht, Brouwersgracht, Prinsengracht and the Passeerdersgracht. It is located on walking distance of the Central Station, the Dam or the Leidseplein. It is also easy to reach with public transport.

Brouwersgracht: The 'Brewers' Canal' owes its name to 16th and 17th century brewery pakhuizen (warehouses), many now chic apartments. Attractively restored, De Kroon (The Crown) at No 118, and the modern Blauwe Burgt apartment block show how old and new are trying to live in harmony. The point where Brouwersgracht joins Prinsengracht is one of the most photogenic spots in town. At Herenmarkt, off Brouwersgracht, is West-Indisch Huis (West India House), which in 1623 became the Dutch West India Company's headquarters. In its courtyard is a bronze statue of Peter Stuyvesant, governor of Nieuw Amsterdam from 1646 until 1664, when the British took over and renamed it New York. A sculpture depicts the first Dutch settlement on Manhattan Island, founded in 1624

The apartment had a rather austere look, especially since the owner has an art gallery. It was functional and had most of the basics. The TV (cable) didn't work, despite the owner's personal efforts. It could have used better lighting and the bathroom should have towel bars and hooks. Quiet, clean and great location.

A pleasant, clean, light, airy and spacious studio apartment in an excellent location. Perfect for a short stay, but limited facilities might be an issue for a longer stay (eg no washing machine, poor reception for tv)Location 5/5Apartment 4/5Facilities 3/5

A fantastic location possibly one of the most beautiful in Amsterdam and we have stayed in quite a few. We had a great stay and this apartments is one of those rare find finds, the apartment is exactly as you hoped that it would be and more (not the other way round which is often the case when you reserve something online). Perfect for a couple, family or friends. The check in and out were really smooth and I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who were really friendly. Reserve it now! Sara from Paris.

Central location but off the beaten path a bit. Clean, cozy and just enough for two. Joris (property owner) was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We would stay again no question. when we arrived at the property we were a little shocked that the building was being worked on and there was scalfolding all over it but we had no need to worry our apartment was at the back and beautifully quiet. the apartment itself was great a really nice relaxing space and exceptionally clean. the location was excellent with many shops and a great selection of places to eat . overall a great apartment in a good location okay price wise but an added bonus is the lovely dianne who greets you at the apartment and makes you feel right at home cheers dianne.

Cancellation Policy

More than 30 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 30 days prior warning, 20% of of the deposit amount is refunded.

Within 29 days: The cancellation of a confirmed booking within 29 days of the rental period entails the forfeiting of all payments made. The Client will also be liable for 25% of the total rental.
Within 6 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 6 days of the arrival date, the Client will be liable for the whole rental rate.
If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.
If there's a "no-show" without the client giving prior warning to Holiday Velvet , the client is liable for 100% of the total booking amount.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
