This beautifully renovated Amsterdam apartment is situated in a historic building along a canal, directly opposite the most popular park in Amsterdam, the Vondelpark.  This 90 square meter apartment, built in 1898 still retains some old architectural details. This Amsterdam apartment, can accommodate up to 6 people, has a large bathroom and a well equipped kitchen.

The large living room has tremendous views of the canal, the Vondelpark and the Overtoom, the main street that leads directly into town centre. There is a TV, radio CD player. The open kitchen is next to the dining room. An open staircase halfway along the living room leads to the top floor with an atmospheric wooden construction. An old cylinder desk is a reminder of the period the house was built.

The kitchen is fully equipped with, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave oven, mixer, blender, coffee machine, orange press, hot plates etc

There is a large bathroom with bath, sink and separate shower situated as a ‘lighthouse’ halfway along the living room. An extra sink has been placed on the top floor.

The bedroom is large and atmospheric due to the wooden construction. There is a double bed and two single beds (which can be pushed together). There is a small balcony with views over the canal and Vondelpark. The large sofa bed in the living room allows the room to be turned into a huge bedroom.  This means that a total of 6 people can comfortably share the apartment.

Tram, train and bus are all close by.  Amsterdam centre is just ten minutes away by bike or tram. Although the apartment is in a quiet street, the main shopping street in the area (the Overtoom) starts just at the other side of the canal.  This lively street has many shops, restaurants and bars
