Amsterdam Tropen is a bright and spacious apartment on two floors. The total surface is 135 m2 and the apartment can host comfortably up to 7 persons. This Amsterdam apartment has just been refurbished and has new furniture. It expresses a lot of character due to the large wooden floors and the wooden beams on the upper floor where the bedrooms and bathroom are located.

Three steep flights of steps bring you to the third floor. On the corridor you will find a guest toilet. From here you enter the apartment in the living room. This is one large open 'loft-type' space. On one side there is the lounge area with 2 comfortable couches. One of them can be used as a double sofa bed, suitable for 2 adults. Large windows offer light all day. On the other side you will find the dining area with a large wooden table and next to it the open space kitchen. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. From here you can also access the intimate balcony where 2 or 3 persons can sit. The dining and kitchen side is facing south and catches a lot of sunlight all year.

From the corridor steps lead to the upper floor. Here you will notice the original character of the wooden beams. The impression is that of a funky and rustic attic. There are two double bedrooms and one single bedroom, all next to each other. On the south side there is a large bathrooms with a walk-in shower, a tub, a toilet and sink.

The apartment has double glazed windows and is not noisy. There is autonomous heating, Wi-Fi internet connection, cable TV.

Apartment Tropen is perfect for larger families or groups that appreciate their privacy, yet have plenty of room to spend together.

This Amsterdam apartment is exactly on the border of the chic Plantage District (Plantage Buurt) and the lively Oosterpark District (Oosterpark Buurt). Tram 9 stops at 100 meters distance from the apartment and brings you in 5 minutes to the Waterloo Square (Waterloo Plein) and in 10 minutes to central station. The Oosterpark offers nice playgrounds for children and in summer time a pool for younger children. Free entrance. Around you, you will find a lot of very nice and hip restaurants and bars. Right next to the apartment there is the famous Dappermarkt (Dapper Street Market) nominated as the best street market in the Netherlands! Open every day except Sunday's.
