Amsterdam apartment Oosterpark ( 55m2) is a completely refurbished quality two bedroom apartment located in the vibrant Oosterpark area close to the historical center. The apartment is located on the first floor of a typical Amsterdam building built in the 1920's.
You enter the apartment in a hallway with Mediterranean tiles on the floor. The first impression is that of a very bright accommodation with an open space character. From the hallway you can enter the kitchen that reflects the original style of the apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped with 4 burners, fridge and oven. From here you can go to the balcony that is facing south-west. The apartment Oosterpark is part of a group of properties that share a lovely well maintained garden full of plants and trees. The balcony is large enough to have diner with four.
From the hallway you can enter the master-bedroom. Here you find rich wood on the floor. The bedroom has two window. The French windows can open completely and give access to the balcony. The beige and white painted room is contrasted by warm colored curtains.
Next to the bedroom you'll find the bathroom. The bathroom is completely new and with the sink placed on a thick piece of tropical wood and the Philip Starck toilet the bathroom has a modern touch to it. The tub has an overhead large rain shower.
Coming in from the hallway on your left you'll find the bright living room with large windows. Also her there is rich wood on the floor. The antique pieces like the dining table and dressoir give some extra character. There is a new flat-screen TV with DVD player. The couch is also a single bed or can be joined with the other single bed to form a large double bed.
Next to the living room there is a smaller bedroom, also with large windows. This room can be closed by a slide bar bracket. Opening the slide door you have a large L-shaped living room.
The Apartment Oosterpark is located in the heart of the Oosterpark quarter. The Oosterpark is within 5 minutes walk and is a very nice and calm place to relax, espcially for children. The Oosterpark area has a lot of small grocery shops with a large ethnical variety. There are also many bars and restaurants next to the property.
Renting a bike is the best way to discover Amsterdam. From Apartment Oosterpark the city center can be reached by bike within 5 to 10 minutes. Both the Metro and train station Amstel are within walking distance.
