Situated high on the mountain slope, Villa Saracena offers breathtaking views on Positano, the Li Galli Islands, along the Amalfi Coast and all the way towards Capri. The advantage of Praino is that it gets sunlight until late in the evening.

Holiday Villa Saracena is 500 sq meters in size and dates back to the 18th century with many of the architectural details being maintained. The owners travel a lot and have gathered a lot of beautiful pieces of antique, all with a Mediterranean touch.

The Villa Saracena works according to the concept of a B&B. You have the entire villa at your disposal and someone will make breakfast and even diner upon request. A house keeper will be at your disposal 24 hours per day.

The Villa is intelligently constructed with many surprising angles and split levels. You enter the Villa in a large hall. In front of you, you will see a very large and professional kitchen used also for cooking lessons. The hall also can be used as diner room. From here you can enter the living room next door in which a mezzanine is made with a double bed. On the ground level there is also a room with a single bed. From the Mezzanine you can go to the swimming pool and one of the many terraces. The upper terrace offers breath taking views and is a lovely place to enjoy an aperitivo and to have a barbeque.

Next to the swimming pool you can find a real sauna with amenities.

Upstairs in the Villa you will find two master bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and with direct sea views.

Villa Saracena is an ideal place to have a very private and luxurious holiday close to the sea and close to both Positano and Amalfi. Cooking lessons can be organized. Also very suitable for special celebrations like weddings.

ocated next to Positano and the Amalfi Coast, Praiano was once the summer residence of the Dogi of the Amalfi Republic. In the past they had a flourishing silk industry but this disappeared in the XIX century; during the XX century the discovery of coral restarted the economical interest of the area.

Now Praiano is a flourishing tourist town thanks to its perfect position and is one of the 14 villages on the Amalfi Coast. For many people it offers a good alternative to Positano as its prices are lower and it is less touristy. It is also has the advantage of being exposed more towards the sun and it gets a couple of hours per day more sun. Public transport from Praiano to Positano is very good and it takes about 10 minutes by bus. There are a lot of restaurants and shops and there are 2 beaches to chose from.
