This very spacious luxury holiday apartment in Sorrento can sleep up to 9 persons. It has been completely refurbished last year and offers space and comfort for large groups. The large terrace has a large dining table and its antique pillars remind you of the time when the Roman empires use to come here for their holidays. The view on Capri and the Mediterranean is spectacular. The beach is in front of the property and Sorrento is only 4 km away.

The Sirena Sorrento apartment has a large living room, a dining room with a comfortable sofa bed for two, two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped.

Sorrento is located on a beautiful stretch of the Amalfi Coast and provides wonderful views of the Gulf of Naples. It’s a fascinating place for tourists and visitors who are attracted by the breathtaking views and landscapes.

The town gives its name to the Sorrento Peninsula and is suspended between green hills and the mediterranean. The Sorrento coast is one of the most popular destinations of the entire Campania region and it’s the ideal base for explorations to Capri, Ischia, Pompei, Amalfi, Positano, Ercolano, Paestum and Vesuvius.

Sorrento was first a Phoenician colony, then after it became a port frequented by Greeks for the commercial activity with Naples and with others southern cities. It was named by Greeks “Syrenusion” or “Syreon” that means Siren’s land, the Sirens were the mythological creatures half woman and half fish, that Homer told in his famous work “Odyssey”. Elected a holiday destination by the Romans, Sorrento is a must see for anyone coming to the south of Italy for Italian history, art, culture and sun.

This rental is just outside of Sorrento in the town of Massa Labrense. It was a little difficult to find but after a phone call from the local police station (which we found out he works at), our host was gracious enough to drive to our location in town and escort us to the villa. We were delighted with the amazing view. Each of the 4 bedrooms has a set of double glass doors that open to the covered balcony. From the balcony we had a spectacular view of the Mediterranean. To the left is the island of Capri, the sun set to the right of Capri and to the far right was Naples. There were numerous fishing boats in the morning and an occasional cruise ship all lit up in the late evening. The villa was only a short walk from sea side where we enjoyed a stroll. At first we thought we wanted to be right in Sorrento but after our trip we were glad to have this rental. Way too many other rentals in Sorrento have little or no view of the sea (or much of anything) and most have to deal with traffic noise. This rental was very peaceful, 5-10 minutes from Sorrento and 3 minutes from Massa Labrense. We were able to park right outside our villa where many others in the Amalfi Coast area require 100-200 steps up or down. Several of the other towns in the Amalfi Coast area were more difficult to get to and quite a bit more hilly so this location proved to be ideal. The villa was exceptionally clean with the convenience of a fully functional kitchen, dinning area, living area and a washing machine. The washing machine was small but adequate. I was a little disappointed in the lack of a few things such as paper towels, napkins and trash bags that we ended up buying. Also there was a slight unpleasant odor in the back bathroom. Overall these did not diminish our enjoyment of the villa. Our host was wonderful and provided maps, a book of some tour options and answered all our questions. His residence was within eyesight and walking distance of the villa, if we had any needs. Without question we would enjoy using this rental again should the occasion arise.

Cancellation Policy

More than 40 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking with more than 40 days before the start of the renting period, the Client will be liable for 30% of the rental price.
Between than 30 and 39 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking between 30 and 39 days prior to the start of the renting period, the Client will be liable for 60% of the rental price.
Between than 29 and 15 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking between 29 and 15 days prior to the start of the renting period, the Client will be liable for 80% of the rental price.

Within 14 days: In case of cancellation of a confirmed booking within 14 days of the start of the rental period, the Client will be liable for 100% of the rental price.
Should you need to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, airline cancellation, ill health etc, the same cancellation conditions as stated here apply.

As a precautionary measure, we strongly recommend that the Client purchase travel insurance.
