Vacation Rental Description

This apartment rental in Amalfi Coast is called Casa Carmela. It is s a luxurious historical apartment of 90m2 located in the heart of Positano in one of the oldest and well kept buildings, offering views over the town center and the Mediterranean sea.

The apartment is located on the first floor (no elevator) and can be accessed by a private external staircase of about 20 steps. You enter the Casa Carmela from the large terrace and steps into the living room. The living room is spacious and bright with antique vaulted ceilings and terracotta on the floor. The furniture is made of rich wood and gives the place an elegant and fresh touch. There is a round wooden table for 4 and comfortable arm-chairs to relax. A large arch with a library in it separates the living room from a double bedroom. This bedroom has an open character and can't be closed entirely. From the living room you can enter the kitchen that has two electric burners and next to it is a bathroom with shower.

Also from the living room to this Positano apartment a large door gives access to the master-bedroom with a king size bed and a large comfortable couch. There is an en-suite bathroom completely made out of pink marble and the taps are made out of gold. The bathroom has a shower and a round tub build in the floor. For this reason we don't recommend this apartment for small children. From both the living room and the master-bedroom there are large French windows that give access to the terrace. From here you look out on the center of town and also on a beautiful antique patio-garden that can be used and is shared with the next-door luxurious Hotel Murat.

The main beach (spiaggia grande) is within 200 meter walking distance. The pedestrian area has many nice boutiques and restaurants.
