Alpe d'Huez Building Description
This family-friendly, self-catering Alpe d’Huez resort, one of the largest in the Dauphone region, is located in the Les Bergers district and less than 300m from the ski lifts and the Les Bergers shopping centre. The resort, which is a traditional wooden-style building faces southeast with the resort on one side and the Eterlous Childcare Centre on the other. The residence consists of 60 fully-equipped apartments ranging from studio- to 1-bedroom cabin apartments accommodating up to 6 guests and also features an outdoor heated swimming pool. All of the apartments in this holiday residence in France feature a balcony or terrace, a living area with a sofa bed, a TV with national channels (paying) and a vacuum cleaner. Additionally, the kitchens are complete with a coffee machine, an electric cooking hob, an oven, a microwave, a fridge and a dishwasher. The bathrooms have a bath or a shower. There are 6 apartments available for guests with reduced mobility. Guests also have access to ski lockers and free shuttle to the slopes. Optional services available are comfort packs, baby kits and other kits that may be purchased.
About Alpe d'Huez Alpe Huez
This self-catering Alpe d’Huez resort is situated in the district of Les Bergers and faces the Pic Blanc in the French Alps. Alpe d’Huez is known as “L’ile au Soleil” (island of the sun) as most of the slopes face south and for the amount of sunshine it gets year round. It is also one of the main mountains in the Tour de France that has been a stage finish in almost every year since 1976 except for 2009 and 2010. At the foot of the Grandes Rousses Massif it dominates Oisans and the 6 valleys. The Grandes Rousses ski area has 248km of slopes with 123 runs and 50km of cross-country skiing paths and is highly varied and suitable for all levels. The longest black run in Europe – La Sarenne (16km) – is close by. And finally, the 2 Alpes – ski area accessible with the same ski lifts pass for more than 450 km of runs. After-ski activities near this holiday residence in France include a number of sports and leisure activities, a water centre, open-air activities and golf. Children and teen club activities can be arranged such as indoor and outdoor sporting activities or other indoor activities. Distance to ski lifts (150m); ski schools (150m) and ski shops are close by. Transfers to Lyon Airport (2 hrs) and Chambery Station (2hrs 30mins).
