Vacation Rental Description

Beautiful spacious 4 bedroomed villa with private heated pool, air-conditioning and wonderful elevated views over a sweeping valley and vineyards. With fully enclosed gardens and surrounded by fields and fruit orchards, Casa Mariano offers both privacy and seclusion - and yet it is just a short 10 minute drive from the centre of Albufeira, top golf courses, beautiful beaches and secluded coves.

Faro airport is a straightforward 30 mins drive. The 10m x 5m heated swimming pool has an underwater light for night-time swimming - you cannot beat swimming under the stars in a warm pool! A spacious floodlit poolside BBQ area with beautiful outdoor dining furniture is perfect for those al fresco moments. A relaxing hammock is provided on a shady terrace to admire the views.

The master bedroom features a romantic double brass bed and patio doors leading out onto the garden terrace. It has an en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Bedroom 2 features a beautiful King-size bed, bedroom 3 has twin beds and bedroom 4 has a single bed with an option for a further pull-out junior bed. A cot and high-chair can also be provided free of charge. The second bathroom features twin basins and a Jacuzzi bath with an overhead shower. There is a superbly equipped brand-new modern bright kitchen with island/breakfast area and big windows that look out to the pool and its superb views.

An attractive hallway/gallery houses a well-stocked bookcase, puzzles and games. An 'office' area provides a desk, computer and free high speed internet (DSL), plus info and directions to all the attractions, including our ‘Top Ten' favourite restaurants! Outside there is table-tennis, darts, ample sun loungers, and shaded seating areas - and just wait till you see the fabulous full moon rises over the valley! Sun-rises are just as spectacular.

About The Algarve Albufeira

There is a hamlet just 5 mins stroll from the villa where you'll find your nearest café/snack bar with a terrace where you can sit and admire the views to the village of Paderne. Here, you can also buy fresh bread daily.

The village of Paderne itself, with its historic castle, has a number of restaurants, a bank, Post Office, chemist, Health Centre, souvenir shops and mini-supermarkets selling the basics. Paderne is just 2 mins drive (excellent parking) or a leisurely 15 minute stroll from the villa. The Algarve Shopping Forum at Guia is 10 mins drive and has a huge hypermarket and also offers 10-pin bowling, numerous restaurants , shops and boutiques and a cinema complex.

Many beautiful beaches and secluded coves are within easy striking distance including Albufeira’s famous Fisherman’s Beach, Gale, Sao Rafael and Castello (15-25 mins). Other attractions such as water parks, zoo marine, and the beautiful Monchique Mountains are all within easy driving distance.

The very pretty towns of Alte and Silves are also well worth a visit. There are detailed directions from the villa to all the attractions. Plus our ‘Top Ten’ favourite restaurants and places to visit, and lots of tips! GOLFERS: Vilamoura's 5 championship golf courses are within 25 minutes' drive. Also nearby is Salgados links course (20 mins), Within 30 mins drive there are at least a dozen other fantastic courses, including the brand new Pestana course at Silves - you'll be spoilt for choice!
